I wonder if anybody out there can remember when TJW started running the 504 route to Denholme? I have ploughed through my notes and cannot find this fact - I know it was before 2015 and would guess a few years earlier. To whet your appetite (if anyone maybe interested). Many people will be able to list where the 300 and 400 ran, some people may recall the 800, but fewer will be able to recall the 200 and what about the 100?

Unfortunately I'm currently busier than normal. At some point I'll find some of the timetables. The weekday 502 was withdrawn in 2005. There was a short gap before Walsh won the council contact for the replacement 504.

According to my list, the 504 started September 2005
The 200 was Mixenden, although I don't think it lasted long. The 100 was another Ovenden route wasn't it, I don't know what made it different from the 525/600 etc.

Thanks for the info 'westyorkshirebus' - I presume the 504 was introduced when the through workings on the 502 from Halifax to Keighley were withdrawn. I was surprised it was as far back as 2005. You are absolutely correct, the 200 Mixenden lasted 6 months in 1998/9 and the 100 ran to Grove Avenue (Ovenden) from 7/98 - 3/00. I have nearly completed the full list and it is more complicated than you might think.

Just seen through Facebook market place Neil Walsh is selling one of his Mercedes minibuses also says there’s more available.

There was also a Calderline 504 between Illingworth and Elland doing a circular round the houses in Elland which competed with TJ Walsh's 400 service (pretty sure it did the same loop but the opposite way round and using Savile Road to Jepson Lane back towards Halifax as opposed to Burley Street)
