Been informed tonight that K761JTV has departed for new ventures in the Midlands, but according to my source its only for the engine. Before it departed Tockwith it was stripped of all its desty gear.

Atleast it will be sold for a "reasonable" price rather than 30k...

I would imagine so as YX57 the current Solo now registered L50 LOW is still in the fleet and i saw it today in York. I think the YN53 Solo got registered L50 LOW but the plate was retained by HCT.

One of the new Scania's is in service and it broke down on it's first day in service. The Plaxton Verde has gone for scrap and the Alexander PS Scania is apparently being preserved. They were interested in buying the First Leeds Scania Maxci, however it got scrapped. And the Firstgroup policy of not selling vehicles on obviously would of had a part to play in stopping this happening.

Very rarely do you see an ex-First bus in service. Unless it has been registered in Ireland then brought back to the UK or lost via contracts etc...

So HCT have never run a bus in service previously owned by First?

Tates Travel Ex First B6 the other day. IIRC some B6's and Solo's were on a lease so hence may appear at the likes of Tates.
