Saw Volvo B7 Wright Eclipse 69315 today on the 18 and Volvo B9/Gemini 37677 on an 09 platre on the 95. Does anyone know how many B7's are coming to Leeds? 4 B7RLE's with leather seats are expected in the next couple of weeks to be followed by a further 23 normal examples. See the last couple of messages on the '69315' thread for a bit more on this.

I briefly saw one of the ex-York artics on the 1 on Beeston Road this morning, unfortunately I didn't get the number - first day in service? Probably 10042 which has been on the 1 today. At about 19:00 it was parked on the Headrow just before the junction with Park Row with hazards flashing. Not sure if it had broke down or had been involved in some other incident.

30950 is the only remaining example still carrying the 40/50/50A Indigo/Orange line branding.

34238 P238MPU on the 46 - is this now a peak time D/D route? 66701 YK53GXJ on the 2/3etc 54098 LT02NVB was in Leeds City Centre possibly on the Quarry House working. Best one of the day which may also be a transfer of a bus as i've seen it for the past 2 days - 31771 R935YOV on Bramley School run for Boston Spa 31760, 31771-775, 31805-808, 31811-6/818 have moved or are expected to move to Bramley shortly. The first one's arrived at Bramley over the last weekend.

68500 was expected to enter service today (Tues). Think it went out on the 55 although I didn't actually see it.

As far as i'm aware, fleet no's 69306-328 are still blank (apart from 69315) in the whole First Group fleet. That's 23 buses and Leeds have exactly that amount of single decks on order so these could be the no's due to be allocated.
This is only speculation on my part though and is in no way confirmed.

61125/6/7 have now moved from Bramley to Hunslet Pk. Hmmm.....not sure now this was permanent. It may have only been a short term loan as 61126 is back at Bramley today (Sat). I'll find out but if anyone can add anything please do so.

I think First Bradford have done one of their 370xx B7TL eclipse Gemini's into the save the children livery, I actually mistook it for 32450 but I saw the orange LED screen display, plus it was operating on the 15 yesterday. Yes that's right, the bus is 37051. Also, there was a J-YRM on the 46 Shadwell today so I assume it's on loan to HP.

Yes, that sounds feasible.

Not sure really, the word going around is that they are for the 95 but in true First style they would probably be used on the 1 as well.
Not sure if they are all going to be in normal livery but certainly the first one due to be done (10042) will be. HP are currently painting 10035-7 in an orange based livery for Somerset & Avon. Think these are for a university service too.
To answer an earlier question, "have they been retrimmed?" The answer is No.

Have the B7LA's been retrimmed and painted. Not sure about being retrimmed but they are going to be painted, apparently in normal livery i've been told by the paint staff at HP. First 3 are being done but they are not staying in Leeds but are destined for the South West.

Does anyone know if the leather seated B9TL's are in fact for use on the X84?
Reason I ask is that there is now a rumour going around that the X84 is getting leather seats but these will be the 4 B7RLE's currently on order.
Anyone know the correct story?

36922 is on the 50/50A again today (Sat), along with 36932, 31097 and at least 3 Royales. At one point there was no low floor bus on here for 30 mins.
Questions are being asked why so many had to be rostered on a Sat and the City Centre inspector was compiling a report of all instances of high floor buses on the 50. At least 31097 was changed over for 32450 about 14:30.

I've been told today that it's been bought by a guy who works at Hunslet Park so my earlier suggestion that it could be the Transport Yorkshire Preservation Group was incorrect.
No idea how much though.

As I suspected in the previous message, Friday proved to be another day in which at least 3 high floor buses featured on 50/50A including Scania 36922.

I've been told today that First Leeds 61079, currently stored at Hunslet Park has been secured for preservation. Don't know who's bought it but i'd suspect it's the Transport Yorkshire Preservation Group but that's only a guess.
(PS: Hate the inappropriate apostrophe in the thread title, who on earth put that in? Oh yea, it was me!

Scania/Strider 61089 was operating the 50/50A circuit today (Thurs). This may become common now there is no specific requirement for guide wheel fitted buses on this route.

Is that a question or one of your abrupt statements? Assuming it's a question I can confirm that the first of the B7LA's have appeared at Hunslet Park for preparation for service.

A 49 branded B7TL Gemini was on the 5 today And more than likely H232 LOM was on the 49! It was. On Wed 36932 was doing 17:36 from Monkswood.

Hunslet Park have a Wright bodied Scania K230UB demonstrator on loan for 3 months and rumoured to be going into service on the 74 anytime now. It's all white and carries f/n 68500.
