The front Licence plate of 782 has been snapped of recently like 667. They have some decent buses , scania's, tempo's and the newer longer evolutions, if only they looked after them. exactly. 770's main destination blind failed earlier in the week and 762's has a habit of doing the same thing.

When I passed Waterloo last week it appeared that an effort to get some vehicles into a serviceable condition would be a good idea. I'm yet to see a bus that isnt covered in bumps, scratches, different colour body panels etc, they do not take care of their buses at all. The front Licence plate of 782 has been snapped of recently like 667.

Have you noticed that Tiger Blue buses have started displaying running board numbers in the windscreen. Like they do in London. Yep. Tates also did this too.

Notifying the DVLA that a vehicle is off road means that you do not have to pay road tax for the period it is not being used and is kept in a place that is not a public highway. Car owners complete a SORN(statutory off road notice) but I am not sure what the PSV/HGV form is called its the same form.

Frequenta Commander 1400 now VOR with nearside front corner damage Penfold What does VOR mean ?? Vehicle off Road. If a bus or coach as an example due to needing a lengthy period of repair then the operator has to notify the DVLA/DVSA and VOSA of this.

Station Coaches had the following in use on 116/126's DAF coach (Y444 STA) and two Primo's EFK & HNN. Their Scania Y48 was on a QEGS service, on hire to CT PLUS the QEGS contract is for CTS from Huddersfield (the timetable is on Y444. The primos are regulars. Y444 (Y48 normally) does 126 Wakefield/116 Ossett. CX57EFK does 116 Wakefield and 126 Ossett whilst YX07HNN does 126 both ways and each driver swap buses and routes after teabreak.

No its not for LOT as it was outside their times for 212 when I saw it. thank god it is now station coaches... they are quite a good service now, feuturing in ossett and wakefeild. they have just started there new 116 service going all they way down the green ossett, turning onto sowood, carriyng on through horbury into wakefield. busses being used. on differnt days YAZ8646, (not used as much every day) Y48 HHE (normal day service when not in repairs.) YX07 HNN (normally used) CN57 EFk (normmally used). the old transdev busses purchsed by 'SGI CT CIC'. most of them are being scrapped, however one of them is in repairs and wil be skinneed soon. T826 GSE has been scrapped. so has S865 ONL. and T627 SOA, R407 FFC has all been scrapped S865ONL and R407FFC were both scrapped, T627SOA was written off in a crash and used for spares. YAZ8646 is now the spare bus. All the ex Transdev Volvo B6s are still there and are actually owned by Station Coaches and haven't been scrapped. Yes W615CWX is getting prepped to re-enter service as a spare bus.

A few early morning 148 runs are run from Castleford depot which may explain seeing the odd tempo or lowlander on it I see. I knew they used to be run by both with the 150 and thought Belle Isle took it all on when the 150 stopped

how can the 281 and 203 interwork considering 281 only takes 30 mins to do dewsbury to thornhill and back including standing time at thoenhill terminus and the 203 takes at least 2 hrs to do Dewsbury to Leeds and back. It would have made sense for 213 to run with 281 as they can interwork. The first half of that makes no sense whatsoever. The second part, The 213? Really? Really? One of the most insignificant routes in Arriva's entire network. I only suggested 213 as that's the only other service that takes 30 mins both ways as well as the 281 dewsbury to thornhill and back.

I understand that Arriva Management and Unite, held a meeting today, to try and cancel Monday's Strike Action. Arriva offered no further offers, for the Drivers to vote on, so the Strike on Monday, is going AHEAD. Looking at the workings especially for Heckmondwike & Dewsbury, 254 when gets to Leeds will change to 229,and vice versa, with 268A staying on its own, thereby allowing Driver Changeovers to happen in Heckmondwike, and Dewsbury's look like changing from 203 to 281 and vice versa. how can the 281 and 203 interwork considering 281 only takes 30 mins to do dewsbury to thornhill and back including standing time at thoenhill terminus and the 203 takes at least 2 hrs to do Dewsbury to Leeds and back. It would have made sense for 213 to run with 281 as they can interwork.

What is the point in the Mickey Mouse Rothwell and Thornbill services, the resources would have been better used on bulking up other routes such as having short workings on the 203 say as far as Tingley providing a much more useable frequency! Can't see many bothering to use any service less than half hourly. Also, what in gods name was the point of the meeting today if Arriva wern't willing to offer anything! one mistake I've noticed is that none of the "hospital" services are running apart from 268A when they all get used daily and will impact big style on staff and patients alike let alone everyone else.
