Guys, don't get drawn in. It is quite clear to me that "aysyklyt" is none other than "stb123" who caused all the grief about SGI / Station Coaches and was removed from the board. And then sprung up as "yorkshirebuses2014" spouting all sorts of rubbish, and was removed from the board. The style of language used is identical in all three members! All that will happen is that you will get sucked into a stupid argument and eventually "aysyklyt" will be removed and reappear under another name. Save yourselves the effort! Cheers
One of the Dewsbury Free Town buses was in a collision with a Vauxhall Corsa on the Ring Road junction with Halifax Road this morning at around 8am. Didn't see any casualties as everyone was stood about looking at the damage when I drove past.
There was a plain white Enviro 200 driving around Thornhill last night. Nothing on destination screen, but a sign in windscreen saying "Arriva Free Bus". I think it had number 362 on the back. Any ideas?
Just seen what I think was AY 622 in Dewsbury (couldn't quite make the number plate out). There was no route number showing, but it had some really small writing in the destination screen (which I also couldn't make out). Might get myself down to Specsavers! If it was 621 or 623 I apologise, but it was definately one of them. Anyone else seen it?
As an aside, I spotted a Yorkshire Line Dart being towed down the M62 yesterday afternoon about 5pm. It was just before the Normanton turn off. There was another YL Dart following behind under its own steam. Sorry, didn't get fleet numbers as I was travelling the other way.
Hi everyone. Ths is my first post so I hope I meet all the correct criteria!
Anyway, driving home through Dewsbury at 5.40 last night I saw an Arriva double decker being towed by a massive towtruck. It looked (from a distance) like one of Heckmondwike's East Lancs Volvo Olympians. As I say, I didn't get close enough to get a fleet number, but it looked like the front grill was missing. Can anyone shed any light on this?
