Volvo B9TL/Wright Gemini 37101 appeared to be broken down in Bradford Interchange this afternoon whilst operating the X6 to Leeds. 69272 was its replacement, which I suppose is better than cancelling the service completely.

I got a very unusual bus home last night.
It was an open-top affair with bodywork I could'nt recognise.
I got talking to the driver, a big bearded chap with a bright red uniform. He said he'd previously been in the parcel delivery business but with the recession being what it is he'd started working for First.
The engine sounded odd - a sort of clip-clopping noise - but it did'nt half fly.
I get the feeling that this time next year this bus will have been either been broken up or sent to First Devon and Cornwall. The driver will have acquired the standard First patina of miserable antipathy and greet his customers with a sullen grunt instead of the jolly "Ho ho ho" that I got last night.
Don't worry, though, because First's shareholders will still be OK.

These are not really mis-allocations as only Bramley buses were being used on Boxing Day but they are interesting all the same :
It was a good day for Scania 'decker fans with 31097 & 36932 being the resident buses on the 760 Leeds- Shipley. Fantastic! Also, 31092 was on 51A, and 36922 (F reg!) was on 33A.
Most of Bramley's S-NUG Olympians were also out on 33 including 30244 with East Lancs top deck
East Lancs SD 61134 was on 96 and the Moortown area was awash with 49 branded Geminis on 2/3/12 etc. All in all an interesting day for those looking out for the unusual!

Transdev Harrogate & District has Y711HRN 441 on the 770 today into Leeds. I thought that this route was off limits for this bus to eliminate confusion along York Road.
Arriva Yorkshire had Dart MPDs 200 and 262 on the 415 today.

444 today was a alx 400 today it was 663 Really? Maybe Belle Isle have got some ALX400s from Castleford. Quite strange you say this as earlier today I put in my Dream Routes post that the 443 would be ALX400 operated. Very strange although I think these buses are perfect for the 443/444 routes.

Yes, there was an ALX400 on the 150 yesterday. Is this route completely run by Belle Isle except the hourly runs to Selby.

I thought Castleford ran some of the 150 journeys as there is sometimes a B10B Strider on there.

I don't quite understand why the 202 is at Selby, do they really need the one mini bus? I think it appears on there quite regularly as the bus is quite suitable for the 42 which the 412/413 interwork with.
The Strider is just a pool vehicle and has been at Selby for about a month and appears on anything.
