68500 was expected to enter service today (Tues). Think it went out on the 55 although I didn't actually see it.

What are first leeds doing with a demonstrator?
I thought head office just bought a bulk of buses then split them around the country.

Whilst I was on the 757 today there were 2 drivers on discussing this bus and were saying how it is on loan and that drivers can make comments about it. According to the drivers, initial feedback from drivers and passengers has been good

In my own opinion, won't it just be like a Wright B7RLE with a Scania engine instead of a Volvo one??

Can you please explain the differences...would give me a better understanding of what is better than the other.

They are two completely different buses but both have the same bodywork. Imagine a Ferrari chassis put into a Ford Ka body... it doesn't make it the same as a Ford Ka!

Maybe First Leeds might order Scania Wrights in future.

Does anyone know how many B7's are coming to Leeds? 4 B7RLE's with leather seats are expected in the next couple of weeks to be followed by a further 23 normal examples. See the last couple of messages on the '69315' thread for a bit more on this.

Have Hunslet Park borrowed an unbranded 56 B9TL from Cherry row because i saw a B9TL not branded for the X84 and didn’t have Leather Seats on the 96, so am wondering if Hunslet Park are now getting the B9TL for the 96/33/33A upgrade or have borrowed it?

They've been there a while, there are no CRG B9TLs at Hunslet as far as i know.

True. First Transforming Travel should be renamed Transforing the Wright Bus!! At least Arriva have some variety within their fleets. Wrights, ADLs, Tempos and many more.

I didn't think Cherry Row were getting new more new singles, as I thought these were going to Bramley to convert the St James Routes (Non-Overground) or are they going to be operated by the Wright Ultralow's instead now. Also the 4 New ones Wrights at Hunslet are these for the 757 or the 85 and 87 routes?

Just reading back on 69315, which is at Cherry Row and has guidewheels fitted. Presumably there are some more to go there possibly for the 18s & 64/68s and displacing the final scania wrights between the other 2 depots and finally killing off the Striders & Darts

The 4 at HP are for the X84. The 4 at CR have some problems and have failed their PDIs apparently and are of the wrong specification so who knows whats going to happen to them.
