jack you said its already been stated in another thread. therefore surely you're contradicting yourself when you've opened it in another thread. I created the thread which would be more specific about the new Enviro400s rather than everybody use an old thread which I created a while back.

Look the thread is for discussion about the Enviro400s entering service so people can discuss about them in hear, not just a generic Arriva thread. Would you like to digress on the matter even further by persisting on asking about my actions???

They won't have entered service yet as the first one is apparently at Heckmondwike depot on Wednesday with the other following soon. Should be interesting to see what kind of branding these will recieve.

I would think, that due to arriva been the useless allocaters they are, i would think that it wont be long before they Start Appearing on the 254/55 and 220/21 possibly even the 219/29 (If Heckmonwike Operate them routes).
I think aswell that they order more E400 for the 220/21 route.

I don't think it is the fact that Arriva are useless at allocating buses, the reason why the B7RLEs stray elsewhere is due to the interworkings involved on most Heckmondwike running boards. These interworkings reduce the overall PVR at Heckmondwike so you don't get buses laying over at Cleckheaton for more than 10 minutes which isn't making any money.
As the daytime Monday to Saturday 268 boards at least don't involve any interworking, the E400s should keep to the 268 (you hope!).

There will be some of the E400s on other routes as it only needs about 9 or 10 buses to operate it. Heckmondwike has about two spare buses like Dewsbury.

The 268 needs more buses than that during weekdays whe the 12 minute frequency operates. I would pop a guess at least 12 buses required then. And what two spares do Dewsbury have of what bus for what route may I ask!? Certainly not the ELC Lowlanders that's for sure!

As far as I know, 12 is the PVR for the 268 M-F, but will they dare hold back two - just in case? I think not and so Olympian could be right.

268 is 12 buses Mon-Fri. 9 buses on Sats
They will of course use any spares on other services. I'd imagine they won't route brand all of them

^One, i would imagine will sit around the garage waiting for one of its sisters breaks down while the other might go onto another Route. Again i would like to see how well these peform not just on the 220/21 route but others-166/63 166/67 and 410.
I would imagine that they could be a direct replacment for both Spectras and ALX400.

The 163/166 is a route which I think Arriva should upgrade with new buses to keep the East Leeds guideways high profile. However, I have a feeling that the Optare Spectras that are moving to Castleford could well end up on the 163/166. That is, if it is possible for the front axles of the DB250 chassis to have guide arms retro fitted.
The 220/221 could become low floor routes with the remaining Spectras, Presidents and ALX300s that are based at Heckmondwike so is an upgrade as such.
