Cross County already run services via Doncaster every two hours. Can't remember if it is the Green or Orange timetable though. I think the present service is mostly orange line (Newcastl - Bristol), but an hourly service operates.

NEW TIMES are on the crosscountrytrains site now. New timetables are available on all operators websites and on Network Rail's website too, if you fancy downloading a 65MB pdf file! www.networkrail.co.uk/aspx/4178.aspxFURTHER to the above, some changes on SUNDAYS. CALDERVALE Hebden br-halifax- york will be hourly during the day. other services will be retined to form a 3 ph HALIFAX-LEEDS during the day. HUDDS . MAN VIC-marsden-HUDDS hourly. plus extra TP services. The Victoria-Huddersfield Sunday service has been enchanced to hourly due to demands in Saddleworth following the introduction of the Sunday service a couple of years ago. As a result, the Sunday service between Leeds and Marsden will now run between Leeds and Huddersfield only. Another possible change on the Huddersfield could happen in future. Saddleworth residents have asked for some TransPennine Express services to stop at Greenfield or Stalybridge (at the moment, only some early morning/evening and peak time journeys plus trains to/from Liverpool stop at Stalybridge) to provide passengers a link to Manchester Airport, which is being considered by FTPE but may not happen.

Great for some, but for others (I include myself here) poor. The train I currently catch each evening to Dewsbury will not stop there from December. I cannot think why, judging from the number alighting there. Doesn't First Keolis check beforehand, or have someone monitoring services like we get on the buses? And I thought we were having improvements (disgruntled or what!).

I'm surprised at FTPE dropping Dewsbury stops, is this just on one particular train? I presume it must be because of some timetabling constraint somewhere, although I can't see how.

I have not had chance yet to compare old and new rimetables. but looking at the new, the only other changes affecting Dewsbury are westbound trains depart one minute earlier and the current 0703 to Hull will depart three minutes later. Now that will make my connection (not an official one) in Leeds more difficult were it to be late.

First TransPenninExpress have not had the courtesy to reply to my e-Mail querying the changes at Dewsbury. They obviously have no time for their pssengers.

theirs a small change including the saturday 1712 to Middlesborough. the only TPE train that calls at Crossgates now operates to Scarborough , but doesn't stop at Crossgates anymore.
