Yorkshire Rider had a batch of Plaxton bodied Volvo single deckers G---XYG (IIRC) in the early 90's. Predominantly based in Hudds and Halifax. The issue was the seat back's which were almost vertical. A mere 5 minute ride on one of these was enough to induce severe backache.

Having now had the chance to research this, the buses i refer to were Volvo B10M's with Plaxton Derwent bodywork and were numbered 1450 onwards G450 JYG etc. I suspect our man on the west coast, sir ratty himself would have piloted these beasties around Calderdale as it was in his YR era.

I wasn't a fan of the B6's Transdev had, you know the P Reg ones, they was early low floor vehicles, no room for a wheelchair or pram, despite being low floor. It felt extremely cramped in them.
