Make that four hybrids - 39202 (BJ60 BZB) is now withdrawn.
Edit - THREE left as 39222 (BP11 JWD) has also come off fleet. 39224/25/29 the only ones remaining.

Thanks for all these replies about the B5LHs. Doesn’t look as if the survivors will be around much longer.

- Leeds Bramley 69335 (YJ08 CDV) withdrawn, just 5 remain in service at the depot currently. - 24/25 of the double deck Electroliners are now in use, with just 36613 (MA24 EPP) left to enter service. - 37429/31 (MX58 DZB/D) now in service from Hunslet, both fitted with guidewheels. 37432/45-47/51 (MX58 DZE/U/V/W, EAC) are not yet fitted with guidewheels. 37428/34/44/49/56 (MX58 DZA/G/T/Z, EAM) are yet to enter service. 36613 (MA24 EPP) has just entered service this morning on services 50/50A. This entire batch of Electroliners are now in service.

Thanks for all these replies about the B5LHs. Doesn’t look as if the survivors will be around much longer. I'd be surprised if they lasted another week - seems to be enough B9s guided to just about cover the 7Series, although there aren't many spares currently - 12 guided for a PVR of 12.

There are now no Volvo B5LHs left in First Leeds fleet as the last 2 39224 and 39225 (BP11 JWE/F) have both been withdrawn over the weekend.

Does anybody know the rationale surrounding the B5LHs withdrawal from the fleet? Doesn't make sense to me to remove them from the fleet and run older vehicles instead.

It's because they've reached the end of life for a hybrid-electric bus. And they're becoming extremely unreliable, underpowered and the costs associated to keep them on the roads is no longer affordable. So older B9s from Manchester have replaced them, as Manchester has just happened to launch Tranche 2 and almost all deckers are no longer needed there for First Manchester.

Been told that 63596 has suffered a major RTC and likely will not see further service? Can anyone confirm?
