Bradford only have 17 routes. Is this correct? If correct its getting worse year by year. They should sell up. 36 services according to my list, depends if you count the likes of the 617/618 as one or two. It’s been pretty static for many years, since they dropped all the minibus routes. From first Bradford website Welcome to First Bus Bradford. With 17 bus routes travelling all around this exciting city, we can help you on your journey from A to B. Whether you want to explore the city’s National Media Museum, or take the X6 bus to the buzzing city centre of Leeds, you can find more with easier local travel.

Heard on Facebook it would be nice to run the Leeds West Yorkshire liveried 1812 on the very last 670 service. Fitting

I don't support the idea of almost empty buses running around adding to the congestion. However, I was trying to suggest that the fare increases (of which Keighley has had 2 within 9 months) will undoubtedly be a factor in passenger numbers reducing especially as Keighley isn't short of taxis and it's already well known that if 2 adults are travelling together the bus is always the most expensive option on the local routes You were blaming loss of patronage on cutting services and raising fares. As I've said, there's not been as much of an increase in fares in Keighley recently. The 2 sets of fare rises were on different fares, with a day ticket valid on much of the K7 dropping from £3.20 to £3 (£2.40 on the phone app). A weekly ticket valid on the entire route is £18 - is that particularly unreasonable? Taxis are rarely cheaper than the bus if you're doing a return journey, though can be for a single journey for 2 people. The single / return fares have gone up twice this year, so for those who don't use the bus daily it is a bit of an increase, and one which I suspect is ahead of inflation. The Oakworth route is a bit of a strange one though in that it sits under the Jets brand, is around a 15 minute journey from Keighley (so in line journey time wise with the K1 and K5) but the KZone tickets aren't valid throughout which makes it more expensive.

Keighley have uploaded the timetable for the 62 and 884. As per usual it's got a mistake. The afternoon 884 from Ilkley is missing. Annoyingly, it looks like the 884 goes along the bypass from Keighley and misses out the Silsden estates, making my first Sunday bus 45 minutes later.

56 is getting major uplift in frequency from change date going to every 7/8 minutes have to say is desperately needed not sure about evenings but from what I’ve seen they struggle to cope and late running quite regular.
X56 should also help with York Road loadings in am peak as well

Transdev Harrogate have published the new 24 timetable, the daytime Mon-Sat service which is currently hourly will be largely a 90 minute interval albeit with a 2 hour interval around midday from Harrogate and early afternoon from Pateley Bridge on weekdays. The PVR consequently remains unaltered at 2 vehicles.

Theres also quite a layover between most arrivals and departures at Harrogate compared to the current timetable Maybe drivers will be rostered on the 24 on ones that include the town services. There should be (when they all turn up and the charging system at the bus station works) eight Volvo 7900Es plus the two electric Solos for a PVR of 6 so assuming vehicles and drivers are available their could be some major improvements to timekeeping of the 2A,2B,3 and 6. The 2B in particular last week was seriously delayed and the knock on effects caused at least one 3 to be cancelled and other running almost bunched together,

Additional change for the 233. Morning times will be changed with additional journeys introduced with double decker buses being used on busier journeys. The update Metro changing times booklet has also included the 52 from Doncaster that was introduced in July. www.wymetro.com/media/4110/public-transport-changes-ct113-03.pdf

Virtually hysterical comments from the quoted Parish Council - anyone would think the service was being axed from the headline. What the villages in Nidderdale overlook, with the exception of villages on the 7/X70, 36 and & 747/X52 routes, village elsewhere in Harrogate District get a 2 hourly service or worse. Could the 2 buses be the Solos rather than the Volvos which the press interpret Transdev comment as Yeah it's rather over the top, they should be grateful that they have a reasonable level of service 7 days a week. My first thought was the 2 Solo's. I know they use to travel a fair distance when operating the Wetherby shorts and when they ventured up to Boroughbridge when the 1 was extended. Would the reduced seating capacity also be an issue, especially with a reduced timetable?

Looks like an additional full round trip has been added in the morning peak, along with an additional journey from Shelley College to Huddersfield. No changes in the afternoon

It looks like First Bradford have already reprogrammed the destinations in advance of tomorrow’s service changes as buses on the 670 today are unable to display the current 670 destinations. 37670 is displaying FIRST and the driver is stopping at each stop announcing the service number. 32535 is displaying the new route 671 Thorpe Edge via Bradford whilst operating between Leeds and Greengates.

One very late amendment from First for the 35 is that it will be running to Thorpe Edge (Old Park Road) meaning some trips are going from Stand 16 & 17 as well as stand 15. This is on the bus alerts section of the Metro website

I sent them a 'very strong worded' email explaining that no one had done any research when creating the new timetable, and they have actually looked it up and changed the timetable and route. Well done First.

Ha, my first thought when I saw the 35 was ‘people in Thorpe Edge need to walk to Sainsbury’s?’ Glad they figured that out last minute.
