Whilst in Huddersfield today I noted that YT vehicles have "It's coming home" programmed into the destination boxes on most vehicles.
I assume it is refering to football rather than a decent fleet.

Very good
Notice in previous years some bus companies have displayed England flags, but due to the general low expectations at the start of the World Cup, nobody bothered this year.
There was this as well
And also this

Parent Company Arriva Yorkshire has but theirs is on the via points section e.g 110 Hall Green It's Coming Home! on Sapphire 1943.

I appreciate that it is not always possible for small operators(TLC etc) to spend time and money adding the comment to their destination blinds but it is noticeable that one large operator(quess who) is not joining in the the fun and games. Perhaps it's because the head office is in Aberdeen.

I doubt that is anything to do with it considering they used to display vinyl England flags on the livery in previous years Transdev are doing it as well

Perhaps it's because the head office is in Aberdeen. Or perhaps maybe they are concentrating on running a bus operation... The YT and the Transdev ones seem to scroll full screen to "It's coming home", thus not fully showing an ultimate destination and route number at all times , therefore breaking DDA (PSVAR) regulations surely?

Plus i've just seen on my twitter feed reading buses have even got it on their tickets. It's pretty much all I'm seeing on my damn Twitter feed at the moment is Transdev, Arriva and Tiger patting themselves on the back and retweeting everyone's photos of their buses and tickets with this pointless message on. As someone who detests football and just wishes the whole thing could be over as soon as possible, this is extremely tiresome, and just serves to make it more difficult to keep up with any actual news or relevant information. Just like when i saw pretty much nothing but retweets of Britain's most scenic bus route for about two weeks...

For the Transdev ones though there's alternate between the route information and the its coming home message & flag when you look at the videos but as for Tiger theirs seem to be static which wont do them any favours.

No, Tiger's switch between the message and then the Destination then back to the message. Arriva's version is placed where the via points would normally be based, and is only on the core routes, of Dewsbury/Heckmondwike 126/127/202/203/220/221/229/254/255/268/268A/280/281/283. It'll be like the old days of just having the Final destination, with no via points

I'm quite surprised for buses in West Yorkshire to have It's Coming Home displayed in their destination boxes. First are based in Scotland, Arriva through Deutsche Bahn in Germany, and Transdev in France!
