Absolutely no advertising of the operating times of northern trains.
Previous years has seen limited reporting on the Metro leaflet, early finish Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve about an hour after the buses, late start New Year's Day with the first few trains cancelled.
This year Christmas Eve finished about the same time as the buses BUT 27 December (NOT a bank holiday) trains didn't start until after 7 am, normal service not resuming until 9 am.
How is anyone supposed to know that???

I found holiday service information on the National Rail website here.Even then, the information is hidden in a drop down!
