The biggest competitor for any bus company is the private car. In many areas bus companies get on very well. Why would they want to foster animosity with a company they'll come into contact with regularly?
In other areas there are such things as competition.
You can have competition without constantly being unpleasant. Many companies manage this. On a personal level the employees of my company are friendly with many of our competitors.

Services 2, 3, 3A and 70 are mentioned about being re-routed in Leeds due to Leeds Bridge closure. Although not mentioned in the booklet, CityZap Manchester-Leeds is also re-routed with buses towards Leeds bus station unable to serve Corn Exchange.
