Hudds 37291 now carries the name of Tony. In tribute to the poor driver who died at the wheel in Hudds BS last year.

Looks like 31140 is on loan to Huddersfield (from Halifax).

Huddersfield's 66784's destination blind is looking a bit different today, displaying "Huddersfield then Rawthorpe" while working on the 370 today.

Huddersfield's 66784's destination blind is looking a bit different today, displaying "Huddersfield then Rawthorpe" while working on the 370 today. That is because on Sundays and Evenings they operate Towards Lindley as normal 370/371 from Rawthorpe/Dalton but change number at Hudddersfield, so a 371 (which usually continues to Dalton) will change to a 370 to Rawthorpe and Vice-Versa.

Oh I see, I never noticed that before.

Overheard two drivers on the 7 today talking about a hybrid that had crashed yesterday afternoon (quite badly by the sounds of it), they said that apparently the brakes had failed and the driver had driven into a skip to stop it. Anyone know anything?

Anyone know anything? The design of the air brake system means it's nigh on impossible for a brake failure

Anyone know anything? 39227, it hit a skip and it's gouged the side like a can opener. It will probably have to go back to Wrights for repair.

Words were they were using 3 Gemini with the green wraps until the new buses arrived then turned out none was coming. They even had a pic of what there would look like too. Standard livery but the pink version.

Off a 2016 order, these are quite late if there mid 2017 vehicles.

New buses are expected for both PR1 and PR2 in the new year, in the meantime Streetdecks 35210-3 will be used on PR2 with temporary branding.

Over the last couple of days I've seen a 12-reg Gemini in Leeds that seems to have a new-style destination display. It was showing the route number over the driver's side, then HOLT PARK in full height text, with VIA HEADINGLEY in much smaller text to the right. Is this a trial, or something being rolled out across the fleet?
Maybe it was just because the route number was 1, but I found it very hard to see due to the lack of space and thought it wasn't there the first time I saw it lat week!

These are 36203 in the normal orange blinds and 36204 in White blinds. Experimental Buses used for a new blind layout. I've always seen them on the number 1. And never on any other Hunslet route for that matter?

Sorry, to clarify, I know about 36203 and 36204 and it definitely wasn't either of those. I didn't catch the number but if I see it again I'll try to get a photo!
