They look like they're for the Ilkley/Otley networks.

Alex has been tweeting about Vamooz again with the teaser of 'Go where your mood takes you'
My thoughts are that this points to either some form of demand responsive transport, maybe using the Merc, or a new name for the various Transdev day tickets.
The #comingsoon suggests all will be revealed soon and his original tweet did suggest this was a 2016 initiative.

I'm now wondering if they've teamed up with Arriva North East and come up with a special day ticket useable on Coastliner and Arriva North East on selected ANE services like the X4 and X93.

Maybe 2+2 and getting 5 but could it be something related to York for the uni bus resource to be redeployed too.

It is all in Passenger Transport magazine tomorrow - subscribers get it by e the day before. It looks like an app linked to a posh version of UBER. I will read it in full tomorrow if the postman does his job right. Transdev will continue to amaze us next year.

Apart from social media, I think that they really should find other ways to advertise the brand.

I can't see it working, but I'm not anti-trying new ideas. The Vamooz concept appears to have two strands. One is these one-off private hire type trips, which as you say I'm not sure whether it will work - if Transdev had a better fleet mix (from 16-seat minicoaches upwards) for this type of work then it could offer something but since they only appear to have old (if with comfortable seating on some) big buses to use then it would seem difficult to make this a long-term success. That said, according to what they have been saying then nothing should run at a loss since the starting price should cover the cost with each extra sale reducing the price for each person but if it remains that they sell few seats on each trip then the cost may price them out of the market as people become unwilling to risk having to pay the higher prices and not get the reduced price of many travelling together. I'm not sure this offers a great deal more than coach companies currently have as many have the option to book on-line though they do keep a fixed price so you know what it costs before you book, the big difference is that Transdev have, you assume given their statements, crowd-sourced their excursion planning department to the general public. The second strand, and from the comments from the company the original germ of the concept, was about more regular trips particularly school runs organised by parents which both offers a more sustained business model & is more suited to the type of fleet that Transdev has in the area. This strand is more interesting for the wider industry and could offer good opportunities for communities, business or educational establishments to directly pay for a service that suits them easily - the option is currently there but it can be difficult to get through the process currently particularly for parent groups or communities where problems can arise over who organises the contract and how payment is arranged.

One issue I see is that they've liveried up an acquired president which appears to have urban90 type seats. Not sure I'd want to be sat on that all the way from skipton to Scarborough. An ex coastliner Gemini with coach seats is more suitable.

Seems they have taken a change in tact and are no longer listing how many seats are available. Showing seats available or selling out fast instead

Seems very odd to me that they not are promoting Vamooz on service buses, preferring (on the ones I have caught at least) to have an interior advert for drivers.

Showing seats available or selling out fast instead Not sure that's a pretty reliable indication, looking at it now the Aug1 Bradford to Bolton Abbey trip has seats available but the current fare is £6.38 with a lowest of £5, while the Aug 6 Skipton (etc) to Scarborough is apparently selling out fast but has a current fare of £15.63 compared to a lowest of £8.20.

The V70 looks to be new, although it looks to be basically a 770/70 duplicate in any case, but the V32 & V36 are not new, just the S32 & S36 rebranded.

If Transdev were not there no doubt those tweets would have had a dig at them like previously when a empty table was tweeted. The V70 looks like a replacement to Connexions X71
