And why not?. There's nothing wrong with operators refurbing mid-life buses and bringing them back to as new condition. The economic benefits are obvious, and the passenger's can only benefit. It'd be good if more operators up here did the same. IIRC Transdev did the same with older Gemini's for the 36 route a few years back, and Blackpool Transport gave a new lease of life to the ex-IOM Trident's/DAF's it aquired before that.
