Please elaborate as to why you think so Mutty A fleet full of tiny priomo's, and even worse a sprinter mini bus on a service arriva operated a double decker on. I don't like these tiny companies who come in and undercut tenders, at the end of they day, they can't play with the big boys , just give it time.

Before I start a forum war, at least LOT doing there best to run a service. Despite the difficulty of smaller companies having not many buses. And Unlike other small operators ( cough SGI) but let's move on from that discussion, otherwise this thread will turn into that previous SGI section, we all read months ago.

Thanks Steve, you've pretty much covered what I was going to say. But let's be honest, with the exception of very few "once in a blue moon" trips the services they've taken on don't need a double decker so what is the point? They have no need to run them just because Arriva do. I have travelled on plenty of evening or Sunday morning services run by Arriva and been one of a handful of passengers on. This is demonstrated by services like 444, 481, 425 all being deckers at day and minis at night. As for running a sprinter, if they would have cancelled the service because no primo available what would you have said then..... Give them a chance to prove themselves or not instead of being so negative.

This maybe only of interest to anybody interested in school workings: Today whilst in Headingley I noticed Tiger 897 on the 14:10 39 from Headingley Campus to Kirkstall Brewery, however it didn't return and the next journey back from Kirkstall to Campus was Arriva liveried Solo 339. 897 later reappeared coming down Otley Rd from direction of Ring Rd around 15:25 displaying L25 and it went to the campus. It then went on to 29 shortly after 15:30.
So, the 39 must run from Kirk Brewery at 14:26 to Benton Pk school to do the 14:55 departure to Calverley L25 and then return to Headingley for the 29 detailed above.

Indeed it does, the replacement Solo comes off the 80. Ah yes that would make sense, 80 arrives Bram 14:38 then a quick 5 min run to Kirk Brewery to do the 14:43 away. So that board does 38 early on , then 80, then 39.

Because of course Arriva have never run either a too small bus (Little Arriva buses... Big in Leeds at peak times) or a bus with a paper number have they. At least they a proper buses run by arriva, not a mini bus that would pick you up to take you to the airport for example ! Or a hen party if you were the lucky one

Thanks, a very late bus to come out from the depot is that one. By my calculations the PVR at Hunslet Park is therefore now 187 This is also my calculation, 187 being the maximum required at any time which is in the evening peak. I have Bramley's PVR at 172 which applies to both am and pm peak periods. I'd be interested if anyone knows what the LW1/LW2 work before or after (they are usually Pulse branded Geminis). Also, do First Leeds have any other non Mybus school work? (excluding the 3/13/13A/X84 runs mentioned above)
