The 760 changes happen before Easter, so I would have thought it more important to advise parents that their kids can no longer get to Beckfoot School on their normal 760 on Monday morning ahead of what's happening later in the week, unless of course the tweet above is incorrect. Has the new 760 route bedded in well now, and passengers are used to it? Also I assume the concerns about Beckfoot school haven't materialised or else I expect we would have had an article in the T&A with some stern faced mothers "Axed bus service leaves pupils stranded" or something along those lines.

Funny you should mention that, my wife had a conversation with a Beckfoot parent the other day who was asking how her son can now get to Beckfoot from Thackley without using the A60 and all the madness that goes with travelling on a school special. It appears she thought that the 760 didn't serve Bingley at all and went via the A650 straight to Keighley.
At the end of the day I assume most students will now be well aware that they can't use this route now although my own association ended with the school 30 years ago so I couldn't say for sure. I'm still more than a little bemused at this part of the rerouting, I don't see the time saving between Bingley and Cottingley by using the new route added to losing what must have been a fairly reasonable amount of child fares at each end of the school day.
