Very strong possibility, rumour as it two more 576 boards may be coming back to Halifax! And 521 increasing frequency. So a possibility of 2 boards on the Calder Valley 590 592 getting transferred to Todmorden (Eastwood) depot.

It looks like we have all been caught out by the PTE and Bus Operators agreeing to Sun 21st February as the first major service change date for 2016 in West Yorkshire! I was convinced it would be the end of January as it as been for a number of years.

That explains why we have not seen any new registrations for late January. However, although some members do not like me posing teasers and revealing scanty information, I can tell you that I have heard from a very reliable source, that there will be some really interesting surprises with the new tenders in the North Kirklees area!

Details and timetable for the extended 762 service to Harrogate now on the Transdev in Keighley website. The extension starts from 10 January 2016 (although website says 2015). Service levels between Keighley and Ilkley remain unchanged (30 mins Mon-Sat daytime, 60 mins evenings/Sundays). Services will extend every hour Monday-Saturday daytime only to Harrogate via Otley and Pool. Buses depart Keighley every hour between 0550 and 1650 and depart from Harrogate every hour between 0735 (0730 weekdays) and 1835. www.keighleybus.co.uk/news.jsp?newsID=1639www.keighleybus.co.uk/cmsUploads/route/files/762ttJan2016web.pdf

I'm sure the 259 is one of them. Could do with some elements of the route taking off.

I've listed below the services that I understand have some tendering elements. Apart from the 256/7/9 group all are operated by Arriva although some were originally tendered to Tates. The above snippets suggest that 3 of the Arriva services will move at least partially to another operator.
128
205
209
212
213
220,221,222,223
229
253
254,255
256,257,259
278
What are people's opinions on who could be taking over services?

The 209 is bound to be changed in some way due to the 229 frequency increase, could we see part of the 209 in Gildersome/Driglington replaced by an extended 74? Most of the rest of the 209 is covered by the 229 and am I right to assume the rest of the 209 is a commercial route and therefore can be withdrawn?

From what I remember of the 64 Drighlington, (think that was it's number at the time), that Heckmondwike took over and what is now the 209, think only the section between Woodcock and Drighlington Moor, where 64 used to terminate was tendered.

Are you thinking 94? I remember this going to Gildersome/Drighlington at some point. Previous 64 and current 74 only went/go as far as Gildersome. Did the 94 go via the retail park (turned round at the roundabout and back up to big roundabout)? Sent from my D6603 using proboards

I think Whereami is referring to the 63 which Arriva took over from First for some reason, think First asked Metro to give the contract to someone else for half the section from City to Driglington due to reliability issues affecting the other half from City to East End Park, Arriva had to run it as a 63 for contract tendering reasons until a network review by Arriva sorted the more permanent soloution of integrating the subsidised 63 into the commercial 229 group routes.
