Quick comment. The Cross Hills via Silsden bus is now a 66. The 66A & 66C are no longer in use. The 571 existing times were quite convenient for me. Seems odd that the first 66 of the day (first 2 on a Saturday) will still divert via Silsden as the current 66C does with no difference to the route number. The journeys to have changed from a 66A to a 66 have at least changed their route to match.

636/637 will run Bradford Broadway to Clayton only.
611 to run via Bradford Moor (Leeds Old Road route). Mon-Sat every 15 mins, extending to Pudsey every 30 mins. No service to Morrisons HQ or Odeon.
Evening/Sunday 611 every 30 mins Thornbury to Bradford, interworking with 636/637.

Both interesting developments. The new 611 solves the issue of the service running mostly empty due to it duplicating high frequency services over most of the route, by making it part of the full service it becomes more viable. Obviously a reduction through Bradford Moor but an increase to Pudsey. Presumably also means the 611 will no longer be run using a school ALX400 and will also no longer be run by First Leeds in the morning.
Moving on to Yorkshire Tiger, the main changes being the Kirkstall Brewery bit is going back to being a shuttle and the 92 no longer serving Liberty Dock at all. The main change though is the main Headingley corridor going every 10 minutes, it's gradually got more frequent every year. Also with 'a frequent service' being used it masks the late running that inevitably occurs.
Also none of the university services have a reduced frequency at afternoon school time which they do now. Not sure if there is a PVR change as there are other changes as well, the new 99 timetable in Bradford only shows 1 bus being used rather than 2 for example. Maybe overall up 2?

I think a different number could of been used for the extented journeys to pudsey such as 611A or even use 638/9 as it might be confusing. Also going to be a pain for customers who went straight though to bradford moor from Clayton vice versa with the 611 departing from the interchange.

Why have they not considered running the 613/4 down Gain Lane after turning at Fagley?

What is the situation with the current extension to the Bradford Moor service. Were these subsidised by Morrisons & Odeon?

Short journeys don't need different numbers unless it's the 268!. I doubt many travelled across town in that way, I expect they have considered this. This also means the 636/637 stand at the 'super shelter' will be free, plus fun for Metro trying to find a stand to accommodate the 611 at the interchange.

Looking at metro journey planner the 611 will use stand F as current, but that will make that stand very busy as there's currently 681, 711 and 846/7.

Thought the 611 could run Bradford - Pudsey, evenings and Sunday's. Good running time for a service.

Late announcement for a new service introduced by First. Confusingly numbered 541 (but not connected to the existing 541 evening and Sunday service), the service appears to be a competing service to Yorkshire Tiger's 540 service. First say they are "introducing this new service on a trial basis, following customer requests for an improved service in this area." Buses will run every 20 minutes between 0900 and 1500 before a gap during the school run and then resuming at 1620. Meanwhile, First say their morning timetable changes on the 592 are only temporary and will change again in October when the new Todmorden depot opens. www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/calderdale_huddersfield/travel_news/service_updates/?item=15701&conf=0

Could stop the confusion of this service. How many drivers will have high road well, instead of norton tower displayed. Even though they're next to each other lol.

As expected the stops have been swapped around on Hall Ings with the 613/614 now using the newly vacated stop in the super shelter, and the 636/637 using the top layby as an alighting point before continuing to Broadway.

All very well doing that, but the bus stop 'flag' & display cases retain the old information.

Since the uni's went back Yorkshire Tiger 29 is running "a frequent service" during term time weekdays.
Does anyone know in practice how frequent this is, using how many buses?
