There is one board on the 231/2 on a Monday which is a decker and has been even before YT took over. Usually covers the peak in the evening(1620 231 from Huddersfield and 1740 232 from Wakefield). 905 is a regular on this slot but have also seen 897/8 covering it too. The decker working leaves Wakefield as follows on Monday to Friday: 07:15 232, 10:05 232, 12:35 231 15:05 232, 17:40 231

From memory that working was driven by heavy loadings caused by students heading to/from Huddersfield University (an around 9am arrival in & post 4pm departure from Huddersfield). That was the only all-day scheduled decker working on the 231/232 under Centrebus/HBC schedules - in the peaks there was a bit of swapping between workings on the different corridors which could see some differences reflecting extra journeys/running times & recovery times in Huddersfield to aid timekeeping.

I'm not aware that there is a school issue on the Wakefield side, Arriva cover Horbury school single deck plus Tiger from Netherton in the morning, Arriva decker from Middlestown. Afternoon two Arriva deckers, so unless there is any heavy loading from elsewhere it must be like Dwafer says in and out of Huddersfield

Picks up 2 or 3 Huddersfield College students from most stops between Wakefield & Overton, then all the workers Emley - Huddersfield.

225 (Arriva) - The 0620 journey from Wyke is re-timed to run 5 mins earlier
It's actually 255, that runs from Wyke at that time, but....., will the company have put back the correct amount of time from Cleckheaton to Birkenshaw of 11mins, instead of 6mins???

Presumably budget cuts, so only as very basic leaflet is available in paper form, you have to download the more detailed version only available online to get full details.

What a bizarre and stupid decision by Metro. The printed version contains no useful information apart from which services are affected. Anyone able to tell me if the 56 timetable change has resulted in their being no driver change required at Eastgate at 8.23pm (Whinmoorbound) Cheers Big Rota Changes at Bramley. 2023 from Leeds to Whinmoor was on 15610 plate, but since adjusting duties (not times) that bus now finishes around tea time, so that trip you are on would now be on 15603 board, which has it's relief change at 1913 going to Moor Grange, that will take it to finish later on in the night doing the last Leeds Headrow (I Think). Originally it was on the Swarcliffe rota, but now has been moved onto the Mixed Rota, who do longer weeks and days. It does actually mean that your trip shouldn't be 'cancelled as much, as there is spare drivers on dutie still at take on time and has an hour or so more to find one if the driver goes missing'

Think its out early doors (5amish) and runs to Eastgate on presumably the last run. I was hoping my journey home became somewhat safer with no driver change over, they've been pretty reliable in the last 6 month but this works out even better!
