According to Twitter it was on the 231/232 early board yesterday, a treat for early morning travellers in Huddersfield.

Is there any news on the vehicle that was going to be painted in Leeds livery.

Saw that it's had its red wheels removed and standard silver ones are now used. Anyone know why?

Saw that it's had its red wheels removed and standard silver ones are now used. Anyone know why? Could be its has required new tyres, and it's quicker to replace the wheel rims (complete with new tyres already fitted) than to remove the old tyres, replace, and refit, and possibly miss mileage.

Apparently the red wheels on 37674 were technically incorrect.
Yorkshire Rider buses with spigot mounted wheels had their wheels painted Green, while non spigot mounted ones were painted Red, ooops

Any chance of coloured wheels returning to 7674? It really has taken on a different appearance without its signature wheels.

37674 now has red wheels again ready for Sunday's Shipley Glen Vehicle running day.

Speaking to a member of staff, no not one of those imaginary ones before anyone says and apparently she'll revert to silver wheels because of the difficulties in keeping the red wheels on 7674.

They were removed by Volvo Crossroads & didn't get put back on. That was the only reason they went silver.

They were removed by Volvo Crossroads & didn't get put back on. That was the only reason they went silver. I heard a totally different version, replacement tyres being replaced off site there was no guarantee where the red wheels would end up, they could even be at another garage, that being the case those which found themselves on another bus had to be repainted silver, hence it made sense to keep all the wheels silver.

I bet the red ones are stored in Hunslet and are put on for show use only now.

I bet the red ones are stored in Hunslet and are put on for show use only now. Red Wheels with contract tyres on them sat around for show use, doesn't make economic sense for the tyre manufacturer/suppiler to me!
