Very odd Transdev taking the 845/846. I'd assumed they were commercial, hence why TLC Travel didn't win them with everything else a few years ago. I wonder what vehicles they will use.
Service 70 is the Clarence Dock shuttle that has been mentioned before, funded by the development company.

yes very strange as the present 845-47 network is the result of previous proposed cutbacks, alterations to other first wy routes in the area and much discussion involving reps from first & others... also these are not really in transdev's area (presume Keighley depot) tho' last big reorganisation transdev k&d lost many 'zone' routes to tlc...

Looking back at the Bradford bus review on wymetro.com, it does sound like North of Bradford it was commercial, south Bradford was tendered.

I understand why the changes could be being made I was more concerned by the fact the fact the VOSA was holding out-dated route terminal information I suppose VOSA are just lazy in reflecting the full impact of the changes. I must remember to put highlight for March in my Diary THE HECKMONDWIKE HUB opening ceremony. I wonder which local dignitary will have the honour of opening it, I just hope it is a nice day, imagine a rther windy day with some horizontal rain, those shelters will provide lots of undercover waiting for the hardy Heckmondwike public, I think not................ Thought most changes were submitted electronically by the companies themselves, so therefore maybe it's the people submitting the changes that are not updating the registrations. The governments problem is that most bus operators haven't switched over to Electronic Bus Service Registration (EBSR) and remain submitting registrations through paper copies, and as Centrebus are one of those operators who haven't switched I don't know how the EBSR system works and what information can be changed & when. On the paper submissions I know that unless you are very specific on your description of what is changing (service x withdrawn, service extended/curtailed from a to b etc) then the people at the Leeds office don't spot the changes (& given the number of spelling mistakes that can be spotted on these entries they are hardly double-checking the details anyway). The big issue with EBSR for most operators appears to be the amount of extra information required for the submission is much greater than is actually legally required to be submitted, the reports are that it requires bus stop level timing data which not all operators will actually have and even those that do are not really keen on providing that level of data for their registration documentation, though there are a range of other issues that are also causing issues.

This new service 59, going by the rough route details in the registration could this be an attempt to tidy up the weird route variations to the 62/A, are we going to see the 62/A dropped between Leeds and Cross Green/EEP? Edit - Just re-checked the registrations and the 62/A appears to have been renumbered 60/A, additionally also noticed the 61 will have a 61A variation, I'm guessing Cross Green journeys will be re-numbered 61A.

So they stopped the 86 going from Bramley-Owlcotes then start up a new service 88,why don't they just admit they cocked up and reinstate the 86 to Owlcotes including the Saturday morning journeys?!

I hope the 255 changes are to give more layover time in Halifax. One minute was never going to be achievable even off peak if they want buses to stay on time
I also wonder what changes First are planning to the Red Arrow services?

I'm sure other Community Transport operators, such as CT Plus wouldn't think it registering & deregulating routes in such a manner as SGI do.

I have nothing against the idea behind competition but I'm sick of them banging on about being unfairly treat etc. I'd certainly like to see them try their hand on the 110, that is a set up to a failure!

I believe AY have already put an objection in to the TC's regarding the continued service and timing changes carried out by SGI Penfold It's about time! I have nothing against the idea behind competition but I'm sick of them banging on about being unfairly treat etc. I'd certainly like to see them try their hand on the 110, that is a set up to a failure! Operators tend to avoid sticking their head above the parapet as you find yourself caught in the crossfire, DVSA inspectors don't just check one operator when they are out surveying bus service reliability (plus you get tit-for-tat complaints that can lead to both operators ending up in front of the TC - there have been a number of cases of this including one involving D&G as the innocent party in the West Midlands a few years ago) so unless there is a serious issue of illegal operation or major unfair competition through not adhering to the rules that is impacting they will generally let sleeping dogs lie (from the reports on here the performance of SGI and its attitude to others would certainly being raising flags if I ran a bus company in the area). The use of Community Bus Permits for commercial bus operation is a separate matter that is a real issue for the industry and on which there has been a great deal of lobbying and issue raising - it is more of an issue for small coach companies, than big scheduled bus operators, who see community bus operators touting for private hire business on the section 19 or 22 licenses and view this as unfair competition (especially where the vehicle in question is funded by government grants) and have even taken the matter to the EU courts for a ruling on its illegality with indications that the operators will win their case on the specifics.

Service X33 will be withdrawn, with changes made to the 33/33A extending journeys to Yeadon/Guiseley/Otley instead of terminating at Horsforth.
I did think it was on its way out when they removed the Gemini's and now tend to operate it with the oldest single decks
