Anyone any idea who has S657 FWY (Former 30837/Stagecoach 16234). Seen this morning in Crossgates looking like it was starting a St. John Fisher school?

Godsons do 3 Harrogate schools, I doubt it will be Geldards as they don't buy such old vehicles anymore and there has been confusion there before when Godsons acquired the 2 ex Stagecoach vehicles and ran them on ex Geldards services alongside ex Geldards buses.
Of course if Godsons have given up those routes it could be Squarepeg or maybe Tetleys?
Basically we've narrowed it down to any operator of school buses in Leeds!

Having looked at the Crossgates - SJF timetable, I can rule that out unless it was very late (think it's operated by Tetley's?).
Godsons aren't in the market for their any new vehicles with them ceasing in a couple of weeks.
Tetley's or Squarepeg for mine.

To confirm, it would of been Tetley's, with route F63 and you'd of probably seen it at 0727

Thanks for that, I'd forgotten about the three "F" routes, they are traditionally run by coaches (and they park in the car park the river in Knaresborough through the day)

Followed it down to Crossgates this morning. Still in the same livery as it left Stagecoach with "Re-powered Euro 5" on the desti.
I believe it was on the TG2 run by A&A Coaches
Also, possibly a follow up to last week's goings on at Eddie Brown - a Jeffs Caetano Algarve on a GSAL route.

FWY61038 out on the 64/74 today quite rare for this to happen.
FWY61074 on the 5 and still going strong.

Looks like the ex FWY Royale is indeed owned by A&A of Boroughbridge. On the Keighley bus museum Facebook post about 30790 arriving a few weeks ago there's a comment from someone saying they've just bought S657FWY off Stagecoach and I believe that person is connected (owner?) with A&A.

Feeling lucky that I actually rode 61038 today, considering this must be the first time I've seen an L94 on any of the Cardinal estate since the 46 was replaced with the 64 in 2009. Michael Windle

What major difference is there between the Optare Metrodecker and the Wright Streetdeck (save for looks)?. They are both state of the art Daimler powered Euro 6 integrals, unless there is a significant price difference between them, why would an operator favour one above the other?.

Wednesday saw Arriva Castleford operating AL400 673 on the 163/166 and Heckmondwike Enviro400 1909 on the 229. I saw a Pulsar bodied bus entering Leeds showing 254 Leeds on the side of the bus, but 255 on the rear!

I think there are a couple of Belle Isle workings on the 148/9 which stop short in Pontefract in the afternoon to go onto a school service, it could have been one of those
