For a good week now I've spotted the Leeds City Bus after leaving the bus station use Bridge Street and Templar Street instead of running straight up Eastgate. Does anyone know why they have taken a new route?

For a good week now I've spotted the Leeds City Bus after leaving the bus station use Bridge Street and Templar Street instead of running straight up Eastgate. Does anyone know why they have taken a new route? Eastgate could be closed for a few minutes/hours due to construction work on Victoria gate. It usually reopens once it's done. It's the diversionary route for traffic heading up that way, sat on the 6 this way once. Or, could the route be trying to negotiate the 49/50/163/166/167/168 stop at the top. Not the most ideal place to turn bus. especially if one is due there nearly every 5/10 minutes.

I think it is the latter which may be the reason, I can imagine that new bus stop causes problems for them turning onto Vicar Lane

Noticed Yorkshire Tiger 667 (YJ10 DFC) going past Slaithwaite Rd and up Headfield Rd for the past few days assuming it's going to Cut End, any idea what it was doing there?

I think it is the latter which may be the reason, I can imagine that new bus stop causes problems for them turning onto Vicar Lane I can't see how it would cause problems, the position of said bus stop actually helps buses turning left onto Vicar Lane as it forces you wider, thus opening the corner up. Used to be quite tight if a 7 was on stop and something at the side of it held by the lights, now its a doddle as you don't need to worry about your rear end (debatable in a solo anyway). Only trouble it can cause is when car drivers don't realise its a bus stop and use that as an actual lane and try to shoot up your inside. The Flying Tiger Versas have really poor turning circle/lock and they make it easily. Only other reason is punctuality, some times of the day it gets really busy on that stretch of Eastgate so maybe they've taken a decision based on that if they do it all the time..

Enviro 400 33879 has hazard Lights on the Headrow.
VDL Gemini 110 branded was at the Leeds playhouse 49/50 stop, didn't have hazards flashing.

UID 1/6 branded B7TL Gemini seen getting towed along Beeston, Ring Road still displaying route 1. This was the second time I've ever seen this happen as I've not seen any B9TLs or B7LAs on tow yet.

Arriva Belle Isle had Spectra 706, Commander 1403 and Pulsar 1461 on 110.
While I was in Wakefield the only off route Geminis I saw were 1528 and 1508 both on 148/9

Only time it moved over the summer was when it went from the back wall, to the side wall alongside the new SRs.

Tempo 776 had two breakdowns whilst on 737. Both water hose related. 769 also broke down on 737, meant decker 906 being used. One decker (I think 895) was on 747 as a replacemnt for 785 which decided to go on strike at LBIA. All serviceable deckers where in use today at somepoint, even 3 out of the 4 Arriva deckers. Double doored Scania on 63 circulars.

62s have in the past interworked with schools, so it probably was one of the loan ALXs and probably was in service
