770 has just left Waterloo, reason for visit unknown. What condition was it in Andy? When I photoed it yesterday it was in a poor state. That was in Kirkstall Didn't see the nearside. Was just pulling out when I arrived for work.

Ah okay mate you've probably seen my photo of it on my Facebook! Wonder if it's because Waterloo are more experienced with Tempos

Elland are the most experienced with Tempos, but they then send them all to Leeds.

Elland are the most experienced with Tempos, but they then send them all to Leeds. Would it then logically be best to send it to Castleford?

In the morning I was heading to catch the National express 561 to London. so thought Hybrids on a Sunday morning is strange, even though 36196 was on 42 heading to fearnville.
Just as a comparison today I went on the new Gemini 3, route 7 Ladbroke grove to east acton despite it's smaller windows (I'm 6 foot so can see outta these) and rear design, looks like a standard wright product, similar to a Leeds hybrids

Sunday service in most cases today so Ariva Yorkshire had: 1481 on 126/7 1508 on 446 and 1529 on 202/3 (plus others I'd guess, but not yet reported). There again, these changes happen all too often don't they !

If they are going on the 301/302 Golcar circulars, they should have ordered the Max version instead.

I agree about Sundays and Arriva using anything anywhere but 1508 is one of the 2 unbranded Gemini at Belle Isle 1524 being the other and while these two see most use on the 110 service and with 1508 now in the zipped livery it/they could well be seen on any Belle Isle working. It would be different (really unusual) if 1508 was seen to be working from another depot. I suppose the real test will be to see 1530 working out of Belle Isle on anything other than 126/7 while it is on loan there!

Tiger 725 on 262 Dewsburys - not a common sight on the full length trips.

Route branding gets thrown out of the window on a Sunday (and Bank Holiday) and its usually a mix of whatever is easiest to get out, the better quality vehicles and most reliable ones that are put out. Very rare to see Spectras or Commanders out (especially) at Belle Isle as these have become rather unreliable of late. Dales services I believe still have a Commander allocated due to width restrictions at Bolton Abbey. I believe 1530 (and the other Dewsbury Gemini on loan to BI) have not had their blinds reprogrammed for Belle Isle services. The boards (783 and 784?) being used still list the Dewsbury codes or at least they did the other day when I cover one. Penfold

Presumably the rest so it wasn't thrown out of the window. Meanwhile on Sundays there is no effort at all to get allocations right, and rightly so, it's always the case the newest vehicles are used on Sundays, and the newest vehicles are generally the ones that are branded.

I don't want to step on anyone's toes but it is usally the Heckmondwike based services that are worst for it as they all interlink, especially at the Peak hours, where you'll see a 229 branded Gemini pull into Leeds as a 229 but then leave as a 255 or so on... (220/1/2/3, 209/19/29, 225/x25/252/4/5.)

The question is, does the public take note of it all?

Same policy with First Bradford, although did see a ALX400 on617/618 during the metro 40 rally

AY 637 took over from a Lowlander on the 268 this morning. If it doesn't get changed over, it will be on the last 268 from Bradford tonight. Quite an achievement for a step entrance bus
