VDL 663 & Scania 761 now in overall burn orange but with no fleetnames or branding The new orange paint on 663 must be rather thick and heavy given the way it struggled up Netherton Lane tonight circa 17:00

The DAF Geminis are allegedly ready to be collected and will be done so next week. Should be at Leeds no later than 15th, subject to drivers being available to collect them etc. Arriva deckers to then be sent back to their respective depots, expect some crossover though and see both the Gems and Arriva deckers in service together.
The thick pillar is there because the window would be smaller than a regular one and there isn't one available to plug the gap. Best solution apparently....
Looking forward to even more confusion for pax thinking they are a special liveried First bus.

Also 771 (the ex-Wardle Tempo) is getting stickered up on Monday so expect to see it in service either Monday pm or Tuesday.

Was thinking that too, with the typing of bus Wright gemini, looks like 80% of First West Yorkshire fleet lol), i can see the confusion between the average passenger cause the buses look like the first 2004-06 B7/Gem's.

All they'll do is see a bright orange bus coming towards them and look at the destination. Doubt they'll even notice that they're the same manufacturer. Bit like they wont recognise an Eclipse comes from the same place as an Eclipse Gemini.

Passengers do not look at destis, you would be amazed how many people think the Blue Flying Tiger buses are 72's, same when First had the orange bendis with Centrebus routes.

Once the remaining fleet changes occur (withdrawal of ALX200s, 733 and East Lancs Tridents) it can't be long before Leeds and Huddersfield become 100% Yorkshire Tiger livery depots.
Elland presumably will remain a Centrebus stronghold until next year when the old Solos are due to be withdrawn. I'd predict the newer solos would be repainted around the same time to coincide with the introduction of the as yet unknown new minibuses.
