Waterloo Centro 722 now in full tiger, no route branding, just Great Value etc.etc, think this the standard YT slogan on sides. several buses now have Tiger Economy on rears advertising day/weekly tickets. Only one difference is having Solos/618 saying 'Great value travel across West Yorkshire' and 722 saying 'Great value travel across Huddersfield!', don't think its good for continuity...

Talking of continuity, Why are decker's stripes at the front and single's at the rear?.

Scania 761 has also been half repainted to remove the blue skirt like with 733/4

Just that the interiors could do with a spruce up.

I expect there are greater priorities, like the Marshall Bodied Darts, step Olympians etc.

Another new livery variant - 740 has had tiger stripes added to it's orange skirt ex-Centrebus livery. This bus regularly makes up the numbers on the University services.

739 has also got this variation of livery as has Solo 323 but this only has a fleetname on the front whereas the Scanias also have fleetnames on each side above the cab and front entrance door on the roofline.

Waterloo Tempo 770 now all over orange. What a pity that none of the damaged panels had been replaced before the paint was applied!

True, but I do wonder if there is a problem somewhere for the single decks at Waterloo since they all appear to suffer from scruffy skirt panels in particular.

I agree, but remember YT is Arriva's low cost budget bus co. in West Yorkshire. True, but I do wonder if there is a problem somewhere for the single decks at Waterloo since they all appear to suffer from scruffy skirt panels in particular. You just need to look at the routes they run, effectively they all run out at some point along rural roads which are relatively narrow (compared to a 2.55m wide bus) and that don't have pavements so if you have to pull in to pass other vehicles you will be scraping a grass & stone verge (and one that tends to have a bit of a bank rather than flat grass) rather than mounting a pavement which will damage the skirt. With a fleet of predominately long 12-metre single-deckers on such roads you are going to accrue a noticeably amount of skirt damage due to this. If you run shorter vehicles with a smaller wheelbase there will be less cut in when manoeuvring so it is easier for a driver to avoid scraping a verge but you will have to deal with issues of capacity and/or costs (more buses or extra fuel if you switch to deckers). You see similar issues with skirt damage in areas with similar verge compositions like Cornwall.

724 is now repainted overall orange, as yet no stripes. Seen today out on the 80's. Could be wrong, but i think there's now just one left in its original go-green guise.

Yes 723 is the only one not reported as repainted, it may be under the paint brush at the moment.

"Longer" Centro's 719/20/1/2/3/4 all now in new livery. What about 718, i cant recall seeing this repainted or reported as such. Can anyone confirm if said bus re-liveried or not?.

There is no such bus as 718. 618 which is possibly what you mean is also repainted in full Yorkshire Tiger livery.

The only Centro which now needs repainting is 725 YJ58 FFP which is still in the old Centrebus orange livery

Sorry, for some reason i got 718 confused with 725, which of course is not of the same batch and, ive seen today still in Centrebus colours. That's what comes with drinking too many cold tinnies before going online.
