Latest repaints at Hunslet Park are 32525 in Zest base livery for Halifax and Bradford BMC Condors 68697 & 68698 in green & yellow MyBus livery. Are the zest livery ones getting any branding or just orange fronts?

More BMC Condors in the green & yellow MyBus livery are Huddersfield's 68690 & Bradford's 68700 & 39204 is away with RTA collision damage and may well be the next Hybrid to be done when it returns.

Latest repaints at Hunslet Park are Zest liveried 32539 for Halifax and Bradford BMC Condor 68710 in green & yellow MyBus livery. This leaves just one First West Yorkshire Condor to be repainted, this being Bradford's 68711 which is due in this coming week. Also in is Halifax based 31779 for repaint in Olympia livery.

Maybe retrofitting USB charging on an older bus, uses more refurb time. But noticed all the other routes quoted, have brand new buses, of which USB charging sockets can be installed when the bus is built, rather than have to wire Electric plug sockets into an existing bus.

Transdev Keighley manage it

As did K-Line.
Typical First though, making a big deal about recovering some seats in a 11 year old bus, as if it's the most revolutionary thing ever.

I suppose Firsts refurbs aren't done at the same standard as Tiger and Transdev. But no surprise there, Transdev do a good job on refurb, First will refurb, it won't be to Transdev standard however.

Both haven't really invested in new buses for a number of years, so have an increased fund for refurbs. First pump millions of pounds of new buses into their fleets every year, do Transdev? The only exception is Arriva who do both to a fairly high standard

On the subject of the 503 "Zest" refurbs it's just an added bonus to what was a fantastic service anyway, a 10 minute (or better) frequency on modern Gemini deckers, what more do people want? I'll finish by wishing Kendall 17 an excellent christmas and superb new year.

Latest repaint at Hunslet Park is Halifax 32523 in Zest livery & should be the last one of the 11 to be done. Hybrid 39201 being done now into the new Hybrid livery & will still have it's Matthew Lewis name replaced upon completion.32449 has lost it's House of Fraser wrap.

Interesting to see 36211 & 36271 out today still with their H of F wraps.

If they are going to the effort of replacing the names, I wonder if they will ever name the rest of the hybrids, instead of just a couple. I'd assumed this was a typical First short lived initiative that had died a death, particularly as there was a very obvious time to name a few more after the Olympics.
