Will Leeds be getting any of these saloons to replace the clapped out scania`s? I believe 11 were earmarked for guideway routes.

They're the ones that have gone to Halifax, who were originally planned to get none, I believe.
Must be the first time ever Halifax has got one over Leeds.

Oh no, that's one down, one to go. 30790 (5610) R610 JUB needs to be preserved and It's going to end up an enthusiast bus for sure.

It may still be a little while longer, the same story with 8414. 8414 did have a rear end collision and was on the books for withdrawal, but a hard few pushed it through repaint and refitted rear and look where it is! Could we see this with 5610?

There's no guarantee the remaining Royale's in FWY's fleet are up for early withdrawal yet. All of Huddersfield's are in daily front line service and are regular's on the Holmfirth Connection block of services. A couple (or three) even retain their original "Connection" branding, albeit looking a bit jaded these days. It's not beyond the realms of possibility they may even be candidates for repaint, after all First Midland Bluebird have two, 30827/9 in Olympia (ironically both ex-FWY buses). And First potteries have painted Royale's and even older Olympians up into the new livery. I have to say though by posting this, I hope i haven't put the mockers on our beloved Royale's.

That idea was just canteen rumour which obviously came to nothing. 19020 has been used in the past few weeks as a spare bus, usually on the 4.

19020 is going nowhere at the moment as it is parked up in Bradford depot and has been for some time. It looks shabby and I don`t know if it is roadworthy either.

Gary

Regards Gary 19020 was in spasmodic use from Bramley earlier this year, I have 19022 as being in store at Bradford so they could have been swopped.

Regards Gary Yep, thanks for clearing that up, AndyK has also mentioned in the spotted thread that 19022 is out on the 4 today. The odd thing is I saw what I thought was 19020 on the 4 in early February, also there were other reports on the forum about the same time of 19020 being seen on the 4. Maybe we should av gone to Specsavers!

Seen 60849 and 60851 in Halifax as well If you saw 60849 in Halifax it must have been on the 576 or 681 because I saw it back on the 620 today still with yellow line branding.
