Why have Halifax collected a Dart from Doncaster? 40973 according to someone on the Travel South York's forum has been collected by Halifax. Are some of those solos Halifax have got, also originally from Doncaster I believe, not DDA?

But weren't the Darts withdrawn from Doncaster and replaced by older ex London Dennis Tridents which have proved to be unreliable and in turn the withdrawn Darts were pressed back into service? I'm sure someone said the Darts had to be withdrawn due to their condition. Not looking forward to a trip on the 517 if this thing turns up, especially if it's in poor condition.

Not much more can be expected from a 13 year old (03 reg) First Dart. They were hammered at Rotherham before they went to Doncaster. Other Darts in South Yorkshire have had have been scrapped around this age and the god awful ex Glasgow ones were scrapped earlier. The same has happened to these on the back ends as the previous Darts, one of them in particular has sagged very badly and you can see by looking down the bottom of the windows from the front of the bus.

Looks like the 'missing' Bradford Streetlite 63288 is finally here, now registered SN65OLX. I assume 63180 has now left the fleet or will be going shortly.

According to one of the First Bus Enthusiasts posters 30573/4 were seen leaving Sheffield heading for West Yorkshire on the morning of the 29th of December. Not only they but 30571 are listed on the SOES w.Yorks fleetlist as well allocated to BRADFORD. Bet Ricardoat o4 is thrilled about that.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm probably very wrong, but somehow i've managed to convince myself that this batch of WU02--- ALX's originally started life at First Bristol when new, prior to transfer to South Yorkshire. Can anyone definitively confirm or deny this?. I cant bring to mind what puts that idea in my head. Thanks.

Think they were sent to SY as the service they went on was upgraded, and then the originally planned buses for SY went to the South West instead.

Thankyou for the above responses, I knew deep down there was some connection with First Bristol, I just couldn't figure out what it was.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what's happened to B9 37722, been out of service for a very long time. Since it had its engine fire.

B10BLEs have been very notable by their absence this week in Bradford. Before Christmas it was still typical to see 3 or 4 examples in old livery in quick succession.
Are all the remaining T and V reg ones in the 60821-60840 range not DDA and hence have been withdrawn?
60824 was seen in service earlier in the week though.
