Transdev have acquired 15 new B9TLs at a cost of £3m to be used on their X43 service between Nelson, Burnley, Rawtenstall and Manchester (and should also be seen on the 872 DalesBus service). The new vehicles now provide free Wi-Fi on board and the company has also launched a new mobile app for the service. www.lancashirebus.co.uk/news.jsp?newsID=1003

I saw examples on Tuesday and again last night. I shall ride one in November or December, depending on when Metrolink engineering works are not taking place on key sections. Apparently the Volvo B7TLs will upgrade route 152 (Burnley-Preston). So I wonder what will happen to existing refurbished Volvo B10BLEs on this route?
