I can see these getting bigger over the next few years, I have kept meaning to put this since the schools went back. They now operate the L73 School Service from Pudsey Crawshaw School to Tyersal, I see it everyday when I'm doing my S56 in Tyersal and it is run by the Primo that operates the Horsforth Circular so I presume it runs dead from Horsforth to Pudsey to start the run and goes dead from the depot to Tyersal in a morning.

Its interesting re the Primo on the 31 Horsforth bus, wasn't Metro looking for a smaller vehicle to be used on this one? I travelled on it last month and the bus struggled to get past parked cars on St Margaret's Rd. Unless Centrebus used a bigger bus previously!

Centrebus often used to use an ALX200 Dart, which will be bigger.

Think the dimensions of a Primo are about the same as the M780SL version of the Solo.

I passed one of their vehicles on Coronation Street in Blackpool the other day, and I could have swore it was a Gentleman driving it. I thought that the reason behind the name was its female staff, so where does this poor fella fit in? ??

How the hell can a company exist with a name like that?. "Ladies only Travel"!. Not only is it sexist, it's also discriminating against the male gender which i have personally taken great offense to. Imagine the hue and cry from the fairer sex if someone established a company called "Bloke's Only" travel. Tut,tut, tut, what is the world coming to?.

The name "Ladies Only Travel" reflects the original purpose of why the Company was set up..quote "The businesswomen believe they have spotted a gap in the market providing a safe,ladies-only environment for female groups to travel to and from events, including nights out, day trips and airport runs". Now they have expanded into bus operation, even though in Leeds it's only one route, the name is probably less relevant for this application. The Primo used on the Horsforth town service has "Shopper Hopper" (in pink) as the main branding, although there are some pink hearts on the front dash! More background to the origins of the Company can be found here; www.ladiesonlytravel.co.uk/Womenonly%20Cab%20Firm%20Launched%20(from%20Bradford%20Telegraph%20and%20Argus).pdf

They now have another Primo, R444 LOT. I presume this is for the 226 to displace the Merc sprinter.

Spotted this 1 in service today on the Horsforth Circulars with no working destination blind & a paper number 31 stuck to the window. Also in a pure white livery devoid of any branding or company names.

When I see it on L73 school service, it has School Bus on the destination.

On their Facebook page is a statement informing that they will no longer be doing Private Hire only Public Service work. Also, a picture of a Primo showing 252 Leeds with silver hearts on the skirt from behind the door towards the back with a large Pink heart with LOT on it.

Do they still have Primos R333LOT & R444LOT?
I passed their depot the other week, the Bradford Solos were looking tired, at least 1 looked like the branding had been removed.

Yes, one was on the BCB yesterday.
All the Solos have been debranded, whether that is for repaint or disposal, I don't know, but they haven't been used for a couple of weeks now.

I notice that LOT have now applied fleet numbers to their Primo's. www.flickr.com/photos/35759580@N03/24672752304/in/dateposted-public/I've been able to cobble together the following so far, can anyone add any further 1 - R333LOT 2 - YX60DXE 3 - YX60DXA 4 - R444LOT 6 - YX60DXC 7 - YX60DXD 8 - YX60DXG Is R222LOT or YX60DXH number 5 or am I missing any other recent arrivals?

While on my way home, after work, from TLC (Huddersfield), I, passed the LOT 252 Leeds vehicle, last night at 2028 in the Hightown area, and being a resident of Scholes, where it goes through, and an ex AY driver, I, decided to wait for it to pass to see how many were now using it. Now, bear in mind, from where I passed it on Windybank Lane, it's due through Scholes at **34, and it's roughly 5minutes journey from Windybank, it finally arrived in Scholes at 2041, 7 minutes late. Oh, and for the record, there was one passenger onboard, as it came through.

Arrived in to Leeds Bus Station at 2204 as well. 24 minutes layover?

Lol According to timetable, it's not due past Domestic Street (Big Yellow Storage/Lexus/Infiniti garages) until 2210.

Sounds to me that Friday/Saturday night runs shouldn't be tendered and Arriva should run them commercially.
