Minor point: the 146 will have to be extended to Wakefield rather than Castleford, where it currently terminated, to create the half-hourly frequency between Wakefield and Castleford via Altofts Just spotted that error myself, corrected above.

Timetable for 576 has been added to the Metro website. Frequency is reduced to every 12 minutes in the morning peak and at afternoon school time.

Theirs some right weird changes to that Coastliner timetable, for a start all journeys now run via Woodlands or is that an error, and most off peak buses miss out New Briggate, some weird last journeys as well, if you travel on the last bus from Whitby Mon to Sat you now have to change in Malton and York, the last bus from Scarborough towards Leeds means you need to change in York as well because for what ever reason, theirs a last journey from York to Leeds what starts at Stockton on the Forest and journeys from the East Coast terminate in Malton (from Whitby) or York (from Scarborough), it's not making travel user friendly!

Looking on the Metro Journey Planner, it looks like that the omission of New Briggate and the re-routing of all journeys via Woodlands are correct. The last journey to Leeds starts from Heworth not Stockton on the Forest. One other thing about the Coastliner timetable is that it looks like that the 844 will terminate at The Stonebow instead of York university.

Sorry, getting Heworth and Stockton mixed up, I need to edit myself further as well, it's the secod to last journey what runs from York to Leeds what the coast journeys connect with, not the last one (the one from Heworth), also having studied things further, Malton will get fewer late journeys from Leeds and York except on Sunday nights, I think by the looks of things York depot will be running the late night journeys and keeping them local between Heworth/York and Tadcaster/Leeds. Finally, just spotted the evening peak timetable is every 20 mins and the 744 looks to have been taken off pm from Leeds.

I Imagine these Leeds - York/Heworth Shorts will be ran by Tansdev York, and not Malton?

743 afternoon journey has gone, which means no more journeys starting from Infirmary Street. 743 currently leaves Leeds bus station at 1725 and arrives at York railway station at 1823. From the end of the month, the closest journey would be the 843, that would leave 5 mins earlier but arrive 10 mins later, meaning an extra 15 mins for anyone travelling between the two cities.

I Imagine these Leeds - York/Heworth Shorts will be ran by Tansdev York, and not Malton? I would assume they must be, I can't see any other reason for it to terminate at Ashley Park, given that the normal bus follows the most direct route from there back to the Malton depot. It looks they will be worked by vehicles that have been on the 844 earlier in the day, which explains why some of the evening journeys from the coast are not running through. (Because of course, Fulford depot won't be on EU driver regs, so they can only run buses beyond Ashley Park if they are pre-2006)

I've just been through the timetable and it does look like the evening journeys are run by Transdev York
All Malton buses seem to back in the depot by 10pm, this except for the duty that ends at 22:18 at Tadcaster Garnet Lane.
I wonder, as there is also an early morning Malton bus that starts at Tadcaster, whether the late bus that finishes at Tadcaster may overnight in York and then start again in the morning on this service.

The Coastliner leaflet explains that they are missing out New Briggate to avoid any possible disruption that may occur when work begins on the new development surrounding Eastgate.

Turns out I did the 2220 843 off Leeds this evening, It was York Operated (Eclipse 1839), and went via New Briggate when it shouldn't have. Also It Displayed "843 Sand Hutton Lane FERA" as they haven't reprogrammed the desty's yet I believe.
