I've seen some of the photos of the B9TL in the re-painted Stagecoach colours and must admit, they do look good in Stagecoach colours. Shame that they're not running on the 32 and X34. First Manchester should be running some new vehicles later in the year, as Streetlites have been going through 'driver familiarisation' duties over the last couple of weeks. www.flickr.com/photos/georgeupstairs/8661631754/Does this mean that some StreetLites will be coming to First Manchester soon? They would be good replacements for Solos. I have yet to ride the new Metrolink routes, and could combine these on the same trip!

Should do, although not sure where. I think those buses are based at Queens Road at the moment, but I've heard reports that they might be used in Oldham or Tameside.

Now that Streetlites look to be heading to First Manchester, I no longer need wait for them to reach South Yorkshire. I have a ticket to use up by the end of the year, and can be more flexible in my timings now.

Apparently, there will be 30 of them. Read on another forum that some of the current vehicles at Bolton may move to one of the depots in West Yorkshire.

I thought it was Enviro 300s due for Manchester (and Scotland) and Volvo B7RLE-Eclipses for West Yorkshire.
A Volvo B5LH, possibly 39214, was on route X34 (Manchester-Leigh) this afternoon.

You know there's always someone who will swear what you think is white is really black. At least it's not as bad as an article I was reading in the paper this morning where two seperate fan groups of the 'Titanic' have called in the police over physical threats. Some people get waaay to serious over these things. Don't let it get you down!!

Yeah, one problem with that forum is that some people on there have the opinion that they're 'experts' and then get worked up if they think somebody has got something wrong. I think it's a case that some people on forums are more brave behind the computer screen and keyboard.
Anyway, it has been suggested that the new Enviro300s will be split between Bolton and Oldham depots. It should be interesting to see which routes will benefit from these next vehicles.

If that's the case, I would imagine that will see all buses on the 8, 36 and 37 operated by Enviros. I wonder whether that means the B9s from there may be moved on to Bury/Tameside/Queens Road or to another area.

Bury my guess with pioneer 31929/43 are to be withdrawn next month when school holidays start and in september the replacements could be 2 of the ex SY olys at BN pioneer have 34098 on loan with a on hire sticker in window also B9 37386 has a broken cooling fan meaning you can hear the bus before you seen it 37295 is the same at BY

I know they are easy to remove but why do that if they are to be transferred out I wonder?

Given that I think the vehicles being referred to are running the Plymouth Park & Ride and are just reaching 12-months old having just been delivered to upgrade that service, I would have thought it unlikely they were being transferred out unless they are to be replaced and since the only deckers on order for this year are more Enviros, unless I missed something, even for First that would be a loopy move.
