3. Centrebus may be a 'national company' but we are a very low-cost operation, it is the company niche (so the website reflects the company ethos of low-cost) and enables Centrebus to provide services others can't afford to and at lower prices than other area operators. The team that handles registrations, schedules, publicity and complaints for the entire company consists of 5 people based at Leicester (none of whom are design specialists and all of whom have other roles that are the more dominant part of their jobs). This explains why Huddersfield Bus Company's timetables are abnormally static. The timetable for the 80/81 etc is dated July 2009, one of the oldest still in use in WY!. In Halifax ex-HJC services still start and finish at the HJC depot! juLY 2009

Just out of interest can anyone provide a list of all the current Centrebus depots across the uk? Just curious as I don't really know much about them outside of West Yorkshire. Grateful in advance. Dunstable, Bedfordshire Stevenage, Hertfordshire Harlow, Essex Corby, Northamptonshire Hinckley, Leicestershire Leicester Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire Saxby (near Melton Mowbray), Leicestershire Grantham, Lincolnshire Folkingham, Lincolnshire (Kimes Buses) Dove Holes, Derbyshire (High Peak) Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire (High Peak - will close once the two operations are fully integrated later in the year, probably). Waterloo (Huddersfield), West Yorkshire Honley (Huddersfield), West Yorkshire Elland, West Yorkshire Leeds, West Yorkshire Head Office is also in Leicester but in a seperate office round the corner from the depot.

Some depots get regular changes, others don't and geography has little involvement in which catch the eye of the directors as needing to be looked at. The 80/81/82 corridor is one that appears to be performing well and is somewhat complex to make major changes on so may have had less fiddling than others may have received.

Derby Unibus was on the 199 from Stockport to Buxton this afternoon. Possibly to do with repainting of de-branding the existing Skyline buses.
Had a look at the Travelshops at Stockport and Manchester (Piccadilly Gardens and Shudehill) in the last week and the timetables are missing in Stockport and Piccadilly while the old Trent Barton timetables are still available at Shudehill. Might be possible that because they're missing at the others that new ones may be published soon.

New leaflets have been printed, we have had to do two runs as demand from a certain outside organisation is higher than our normal entire print run of a leaflet. These were delivered last wednesday and a substantial supply should have gone to TfGM at the end of last week so presumeably new leaflets should be appearing in their travel shops soon if they haven't done so already this week. Skyline & Transpeak should remain branded as such and are planned to remain in red & green respectively and all publicity is in those colours.
