Bad Malli, Enviro 200s are cheap, rubbish and worse of all not built very well.

I agree YT03. E200's are nowt more than a rattly bag of bolts. E400's on the other hand seem very sturdy, well built quality vehicles.

Tate's need to stop buying these sheds and think about buying Wrights, More money but more bus.

Tate's need to stop buying these sheds and think about buying Wrights, More money but more bus. A bus is a bus to an operator, there is nothing wrong with E200's, I personally like them... It is all about running costs to operators and the E200 is one of the cheapest buses to run.

Tate's need to stop buying these sheds and think about buying Wrights, More money but more bus. Which is why the E200 is the market leading design in its market sector and the Wright equivilant is an unknown quantity but where one of the first operators of the Streetlite returned theirs and replaced them with E200's. It is interesting the different perceptions that people will have of the same design (and that extends to operators where one cannot get on with a type that another operator swears by!) and actually I quite like the Enviro models - it will often depend on how well cared for the buses of the type you are used to are (I'm not a great fan of Wrightbus bodies but that may be more to the fact that the the type of one of my local operators have not aged well but that may be more to do with poor maintenance than inherent design flaw - similar vehicles from another local operator seem much better quality). Buying buses is often quite a subjective matter for smaller operators being a combination of cost, suitability of design, reliability & the relationship with & support from the supplier

Tate's need to stop buying these sheds and think about buying Wrights, More money but more bus. So they'd stop being like Stagecoach and start being like First!

Must admit I've noticed some of the Arriva ones vibrate heavily when in neutral, to give an example I was in Bradford Interchange on the 363 stand and heard one of Arriva's E200s vibrating through all the noise of the bus station on it's 283 stand about 5 stands down.

It would be the new door forward version of the StreetLite.

I understand it to be the new Streetlite Door Forward - but this is still an unknown vehicle in terms of runnng costs and reliability. With reference to the Enviro 200, I find that all 4 cylinder engines have more vibrations and sound rougher than the 6 cylinders.

Streetlites are not good, it is the mini Voith gearbox that is making operators turn them down... too slow on hills and at setting off, I also believe running costs are slightly higher aswell not mentioning the reliability of them.

Would take Solo's over E200's or Streetshi*es anyday.

Yes, I agree, as an example - the MAN engined Solos 310-17 with Centrebus are powerful machines. I haven't experienced the 201bhp Cummins version, but they should be even faster.
