Interesting to see on the first day of the new timetables in York that they've reprogrammed most of the destination blinds, so both the flip-dot and LED ones now mostly give two lines, the final destination big and bold, and a subsidiary 'via' point in smaller, lighter type (on the LED boards, these used to be two lines at the same size, but with the top one in bold). This doesn't apply to Streetcars, which have their own unique low-res LED display that isn't any good at all. And it doesn't apply uniformly - some buses with flip-dots were only showing the final destination (on routes 1 and 13), but I don't know if that's the routes or the buses that haven't been reprogrammed, I didn't get a chance to do a scientific study! They seem to have got rid of the scrolling second lines completely now.

This design was something which seemed to start in Halifax and Huddersfield a few years ago and then later spread to Bradford & Leeds when the merged FWY organisation started. I presume York have not had any need to reprogramme any displays for years until now.

Apparantly the guy that programed them at Halifax did everywhere in West Yorkshire because he knew how to do it properly and Bradford or Leeds couldn't do them good enough.

When Halifax do get their mitts on Hudds 30844, at least it will be bright and shiny for them. Saw it today, first day back in service following a full repaint.

69323, 69324 & 69330 are now at Huddersfield Are these the only 3 that are transferred? I've seen them on the 363 in the past week, they've kept their guide wheels so I presumed they came from Bradford but reading back in the thread they're actually from Bramley.

Leeds have Volvo loanee 32001? Indeed they have. As far as i'm aware and unless anybody knows different, so far it's only been used on school service AG2 to Abbey Grange. I havn't confirmed the reg but think it may be V130 LGC which was numbered 32025 when it was last on loan! What i'm not understanding is the fact that 32001 is (or was) a First Bristol B7TL, W801 PAE.

Did you also notice it's now reverted to it's correct f/n 32025? Hmm, think someone's been playing at numbers. It carried 32001 at least Mon & Tues, don't know about Wed.

I know Arriva do review their cameras when there have been incidents with the bus, such as mirror/mirror arms getting tangled with trees etc.

First Huddersfield have Gained: 69323,69324,69329 & 69330 which are ex Leeds and guided wheel buses. Also 40669 has now joined Halifax leaving 66784 still at Huddersfield which needs repairs before it can be transferred.
