N413 MBW departed to PVS today after been used as a source of spares in the yard. Best place for it, I must remember not to trip over it when I'm next in there

I've heard that HJC will need the space as they are giving up 2 of the smaller units they occupy at Albert Road. I believe some of the privately owned heritage buses housed there have been given notice to leave too.

Are you sure it isnt at Luddenden Foot because that depot has 2 units...

No, HJC Albert Road currently consists of 2 small units and 1 large unit. The small units house the office; drivers area; toilets and storage in one and the other is the main garage area with the pit. These are going. Everything is moving into the large unit adjacent to the yard.
Lud'foot's two units are currently unaffected.

They have just had new offices fitted in there not so long ago! There is a massive Fuel tank in there and loads of other stuff, it will take them months to move it all out.

I know, bizzare isn't it?
New office and fuel tank all to move. The first of the privately owned heritage buses will leave next week.

Private owners have had to make their own arrangements, so presumably the vehicles will end up all over the place.

Yes, agree. Shame really. I think the HJC sign has been taken down from the small units. Hope it goes back up on the other unit. Maybe some pics would be good?

That'll be a lot of dead mileage coming from Mytholmroyd to Killingbeck every day, but on a brightside the New College driver will be able to enjoy the views over the top when they go on an afternoon.

I reckon they will take on a couple more contracts with them getting this new depot and possibly loosing the 629 contract. It's going to be like HJC reborn again

You've been suggesting these new contracts for at least a year, all they picked up was the East Leeds Tesco contract after Yorkshire Line abandoned it!

They will need to get something with a guaranteed income by the time the 629 gets withdrawn in April

Is it time to start looking for a replacement for our Chief Halifax Correspondent? or is he spending too much time practicing his reversing, emergency stop, use of mirrors and how he would secure all those hiding places used to to hide from the border police.
