Was Leeds service 41 Bramley depot - Seacroft a metro service before Yorkshire Rider. I remember this service well and used to use it alot before it became the 50 and the 50 bacame the 49 between Kentmere Avenue and terminus

Didn't the 41 terminate on Stanks Lane North before the rest of the estate was built?

I believe the 40/41 circular was introduced by Metro sometime in the early eighties. Previously the 40 terminated at Stanks and the 41 when introduced replaced various other routes.

I'm going back before the 80s, i believe the terminus was placed where it is because of it being at the edge of the estate.

The 40 had always run only far as Stanks before it was merged with the new 41 circular. With regards to the buses serving Swarcliffe, I believe those services did have several terminal points which changed and expanded as the area was built up.

I remember the 15 route Originally Went Bradford - Farsley- Leeds - Harehills - Seacroft, it was cut when the 5A was introduced to run the Leeds - Seacroft part around 2000. (think it still ran to seacroft evenings and sundays)
The 5A being replaced when Overground Colour routes kicked in with a new rerouted 4(Original route ran right up York Road via 770 and coastliner buses to seacroft), but then diverted via the 5A route, but via St James instead of Stoney Rock Lane and given and evening and sunday service too.
Did the 15 run via Pudsey rather then farsley before, i dont remember the route before 1995, as i had moved to leeds since then.

I think the 15 always went via Pudsey. The 14 ran Bradford to Leeds via Pudsey, Swinnow, Gamble Hill and Armley, a bit like a combination of the current 711 then 90 then 5.
Pre-Overground there used to be a 17 as well

As the 526 has been replaced by the 539 it is worth noting this long running service
Back in the day it used to run Newlands - Halifax - Shelf and used to interwork (maybe at both ends) with service 534 which back then ran Newlands - Halifax - Shelf via Shibden and Northowram.
In the mid 90s, it used to see any type of bus, Fleetlines, B10Ms & coaches. Does everyone else remember that era of the 526/534?

Yes, the 526/534 was an interesting route - particularly the road up from Stump Cross to Shibden - totally unsuitable for a double decker (now only just suitable for a midibus!) - it then turned round on the spare ground previously occupied by the 'Merry Boys Inn' and that is before my time! I remember taking a picture on this stretch of road on the last days of double decker operation (guess about 1993)
