Or cancellation of the existing evening buses... depending on how successful they've been?

Centrebus have been very successful with the 92 I've been casually monitoring passenger numbers on it seeing as I live in Headingley and there's always at least 40-50% occupancy during the day rising to around 70-80% in the peaks based on a Dart SLF.

I knew it would be an increase rather than a reduction for the 92 well done Centrebus for turning this route around, hope they will do the same with the rest of their Leeds network that was inherited from a failing, dismal end that First subscribed these route to! I really disliked Centrebus when they first entered Hertfordshire because of their budget approach to operations however now they are becoming a well respected, professional company!

With the loss of these routes, COULD we see an investment of new vehicles & an increase on the key corridor services? So 1 to every 7/8 minutes, 95 to every 7/8 minutes, X84 back up to 15 minutes, 2/3/12/13 to every 7/8 minutes (3/13/3A/13A), 33/33A back to every 20 minutes each into guiseley, 47 re-instated to wigton moor and a every 10 minute frequency to moortown corner etc? Or is too quick for the tide to change at first?

First don't need any more new vehicles, their fleet is relatively young

Also note that 90% of the time, the current First fleet will get you from A to B and is DDA compliant. It doesn't need much more investment in the near future.

This thread has gone off on a bit of a tangent. I can't see any connection between First losing some low profile routes needing 3 buses max, to a major replacement of the fleet and massive increase in PVR on umpteen Overground routes?. They'll send 3 small buses to Halifax to replace some older Darts and that will be it.
Back on track, I expected the 80 & 66 to pass to Centrebus at some stage. I think these are the last two of these low profile services that First still operate in Leeds, everything else is fairly core network.

Centrebus don't need any new buses soon! except maybe 1 to replace K278 EWA at Huddersfield! & later K3 YCL & WLT 528 in a couple of years. Centrebus' fleet is reasonably young with the oldest LF bus a R reg.

I meant new buses to cover the new services taken over from First unless there going to be interworked with existing services.

The 528 is just having it's timetable changed, from what I've heard it is still going to be the same frequency.

I imagine they'll re-time the journey times, maybe shortening the waiting time in Rochdale and give them a faster running time in Greater Manchester.

Restoring the earlier journey that was lost when the journey from Mill Bank was withdrawn.
