It already has for nearly 2 years in South Yorkshire... ;D ...only very limited parts of South Yorkshire! Yup, the 40, 41, 42, 51, 52 FSY, 52 STG & 120 were the official allocation, along with the Sheffield - Rotherham - Doncaster trains. Plus all the School buses in Sheffield operated by Mass / Brightbus. Covered most of the West and South-East of the City and in the end, it was a complete waste of money and the system was unreliable. You should have read some of the comments at the time that was posted on the SY forum! Just as we thought we'd seen the back of YorCard, it is about to return!
