Seen a geldards Scania out and about around 5pm. Along Beckett Street and Lincoln Green Road. What's the plan with the remaining fleet.

Any which were leased will be going back to the leasing company unless the administrator/liquidator is looking to try and sell the company as a going concern which is unlikely. Then it will be a case of selling them off for the best possible price, could be some bargains to be had.

From today Yorkshire Tiger have also taken over the L51, L51A & L53 routes.
Squarepeg have taken over 3 routes at Ruth Gorse Academy with the other route being run by Hunters Coaches.
The HG22 will be Connexions Buses from next week with the FA1 previously being Squarepeg now being CT Plus, although it doesn't say if it will be a double deck, MyBus or White BMC.

Looks like J815HMC is still alive and well, and is now running for Squarepeg.
Seen today on the RGA1

For those of you wondering, and looking at the final fleet list provided by SOES, I will help to clear up where some of Geldards buses have gone.
V192 MEV, V194 MEV, V364 OWC, T819 RFG, T820 RFG, T748 JPO, PK02 RDOand T87 KLD have all been returned to EnsignBus.
This is the same with the GGO and FGN plates.
E215 WBG, F814 YLV, F824 YLV, G711 LKW and M763 RCP have not been with Geldards for the last few years, most likely YLV's, LKW and M763 RCP have been scrapped and WBG has been sold onto travellers which I am sure of.
All of the HMC plates have been sold to Squarepeg to use on their school services.
YJ04 BKG, M87 MYM, M85 MYM, P476 MBY, P478 MBY, YFB 973V, YJ04 BKK, T57 AUA, yJ51 ZVE and all the KLD plates including T69 which is in a very bad state have all been sold by the administrators by a online auction.
Y377 NHK has been spotted with Leeds company J and B Travel but the other 2 NHK plates Geldards owned I do not know about.
It is unknown what has happened with P867 PWW, R178 GNW and R176 GNW. If anyone knows anything please do reply.
YG52 CGE, YJ51 ZVH and T76 KLD were the buses which were affected by the fire and only a metal core was left.

P867PWW was on rail replacement in Leeds yesterday, still white with no company names on the side. I didn't manage to see the legals

Does anyone know where E215 WBG has gone? Thought it was travellers but not sure now. Has it been sold to preservationists?

Yes the SOES fleet list isn't entirely correct.
E215WBG, F814/824YLV, G711LKW, M763RCP were not current
J817HMC & P478MBY were at least withdrawn
T69KLD was out of use being stripped for spares
Also missed off was T312FGN. I don't think the 4 JH Coaches vehicles had anything to do with ensign, and I think they are all now with Squarepeg.

G711 LKW was another favourite of mine. Also, do you know what happened to J817 HMC to make it withdrawn as all other HMC plates still intact? I know P478 had a fuel pump issue. Also, what happened with T69 KLD as again all other KLD's are perfectly fine? I know the JH Coaches did have nothing to do with Ensign, error on my behalf in terms of grammar there!

J&B's coach fleet is all modern now, but they still have Volvo Olympians R332LGH and J400JBT. Either J&B or Hunters have an all white Plaxton President, 2002 reg I think. I'm wondering now if it was R178GNW or P867PWW that I saw on rail replacement Saturday :S

T819 or T820 RFG one or the other is with M Travel along with one of the J&H Coaches DAF DB250 ALX400's, Squarepeg also have 3 of the same batch of ALX400'S which Geldards had only bought days before going into administration.
Rosso have YJ04 BKG

Rosso have YJ04 BKG Is it just me which finds it all a bit odd? Why would they have bought all the buses from Ensign and J+H Coaches just before they went bust? Surely just a waste of money? T820 RFG and YJ04 BKG were a few of my favourites. Do we know where YJ04 BKK went?

They presumably didn't know they were going out of business!
They'd got rid of all the expensive leased buses in the summer and obtained a replacement fleet ready for the new school year. The buses from Ensign had been painted blue as well. As we know they only did Leeds festival and about 2 weeks of the new school term.
Regarding YJ04BKG, the photo on Flickr does say stopping off at Rosso on its way to a new operator, not that it is at Rosso.

Or they were looking at everyway possible to stay in business, lots of cost cutting but once the plug is pulled clearly there was no way back. They might have been looking at the Festival to buy some breathing space, but maybe we will never know

Apparently one of the directors was taking the money out of the bank and just keeping it for himself.
