Anyone know what the Red and Black decker is in the M-Travel workshop? I could only see the rear of it earlier today.

Anyone know what the Red and Black decker is in the M-Travel workshop? I could only see the rear of it earlier today. As Wilts & Dorset had a red and black livery it could be another ex W&D Spectra. I am beginning to wonder how long M Travel will keep its Metrobuses or whether they will soon be replaced by more ex W&D Spectras?

Not really Spectra's but M-Travel have 2 "new" single decks.
Not sure if these two have been reported elsewhere so here goes.
Excel P152 CTV
Dart R933 RAU, longer version looked as long as the Excel

Both ex Trent/Barton. P152CTV is surprising, i though those were rotten. One was withdrawn with severe corrosion a couple of years ago.

The early excels did have chassis problems.
But, isn't this what a another certain operator should be doing, buying low floor vehicles.

Buying rotten excels, dont they have enuff problems with rotten Metro buses. The Metrobuses are probably the best bus built (Out of the M-Travel fleet anyway), as can be proved with TWM running them until earlier this year & HJC still running their MKI's - Some have had chassis corrosion already & been withdrawn while some are running fine with no problems & will probably last another 5 years.

Looks like M-Travel now have the largest number of Metrobuses running on a daily basis, their Spectras don't look bad either. At least theirs are are all painted into the same colour scheme
