Work committments mean I haven't got much free time to update the site at the moment. There should be some updates in the next few weeks.

Im just thinking it's an idea for someone else to do the fleet updates if he hasn't got time. I know pretty much all about Transdev York and First York so i can keep them updated.

I have used 'West Yorkshire Buses Website' since the site was first started. It is an excellent resource and a very valuable website for all bus enthusiasts. I think we should all remember it is hobby - not a free public service. May I once again thank sincerely the person who manages and compiles the site for his continuous and relentless efforts enjoyed by us all.

This is provided by someone who uses their knowledge and spare time for the benefit of others. It's nothing short of rude to demand an update or suggest that the person stops doing it. If you think you can do better carry on. But at least show a little respect to the individual who has put this website together and maintained it for years, all for our benefit.

Totally agree - a whole load of the web is down to people in their spare time and we should be thankful that this site has continued when many others have fallen by the wayside (including some I started and ran out of time with trying to keep up to date so that they became cobwebs before I finally pulled them). Such demanding comments only serve to demoralise a web sites author.

Thanks for updating your site ' westyorkshire bus' - always something to look forward to in our local bus scene. I like your idea of grouping together Centrebus Elland / Leeds & Huddersfield Bus Company plus K-Line on a different page - this is the current situation as I also understand it!

I haven't had much time to update the site recently so have decided to downsize and focus on providing the fleetlists which are by far the most popular part of the site.
Other items have been removed but some features that are dateless and don't need updating have been retained.
The fleetlists that have been updated today have changed to be in PDF format. This means they are quicker to update and also are more modern, able to be printed out, and similar to fleetlists found on websites covering other areas. Chassis and Body Numbers have been dropped as a result.
Let me know any feedback on these changes.

In a word no, far too complicated to even consider, due to all the vehicles they acquire but don't use in service.

To be honest the company has a high turnover of vehicles. They swap VRT open toppers for VRT open toppers. Olympians for Olympians. Coaches for coaches.
