First in Leeds have a couple of CR/HP fitters who just go about the city centre to attend to any buses that are experiencing problems.

I haven't seen one fitter swap machines round while on a route, the most places I've seen them do it is in Bus stations or at the terminus at the end of the route. Hence why I said in my previous post they give up the Emerency tickets.

hudds bus 728 was seen sat in the corner of waterloo depot today apparently so there must be something else wrong with it other than the ticket machine???
Anyway Wright B10LA Fusion 10031 was broken down at holt park asda for about 3 hours this afternoon while waiting for an engineer to come i think with some water or fuel for it.the engineer then decided to park on the path which then blocked buses trying to get round and also the asdas porters who use the path to get trollys up!

I would say the HBC bus has an Electrical fault and that would have meant go back to Waterloo out of use and wouldn't have been able to use Emercenty tickets.

Why would you mess around using emergency tickets when you can just swap the bus?
Also just because 728 was parked up today doesn't mean it is faulty. They do have spares. 728 is probably a last resort to be used anyway

First Bradford 37045 was broken down on The Tyrls at 1015 with brakdown truck in front.
Would have taken a pic but was stuck on the freecitybus next to 3 13 year old girls blowing up condoms! The youth of today, eh?

Hardly a coincidence - if anything it's hardly a surprise at all that it was allowed to continue in service only to break down again if the fault wasn't rectified in the first place.

Arriva Dart 146 L146YVK was parked up on boar lane outside the shopping Plaza (Leeds) with the front offside corner smashed in and the driver under the engine flap. Not too sure what 146 had hit but it wasn't going anywhere fast.

What a brilliant place to brake down! Wonder what happened to the 38 and 91 and they have to turn right here to go towards Kirkstall. Unless they did a very very big turn in front of this bus. Oh dear!!

I think X351 VWT (Alx400) was broken down on Kirkstall road this evening around 6pm and was there at 8.20! Also FTR broken down just beyond St James' Hospital towards Pudsey.

I've seen Two Optare Spectras Broken Down . One at Leeds Bus Station unidentified, on the 229 to Huddersfield, it was towed away at Leeds Bus Station around 17:20. Not sure whether this is the same one or different but this one was At the Bottom of Dewsbury Road, over the M621 bridge, Identified as 707.

Are you sure it was 707 at the bottom of Dewsbury road. 707 is based at Castleford so should not find it's way onto Dewsbury Rd. 716-723 are the ones based at Heckmondwike plus 700-705 based at Belle Isle could have been in the area.

It would be up to the driver of the Tow wagon if he takes it along the bottom of Dewsbury Road and has Mckenzie said it was on the M621 Motorway bridge which it would go Southbound to Cas or westbound to Hecky.
