One of the batch 435-439, DAF SB220/Northern Counties Prestige was on the 254 this morning. Couldn't see which one as it was on the opposite side of a dual carriageway. This type of vehicle is currently garaged at Arriva's Belle Isle depot.

Spotted B10B Strider 411 twice yesterday, in the morning it was on the 446 in Leeds and at night on the 117 heading up Dewsbury Road. Would be nice if it sees out it's days with Belle Isle Depot.

You cant really give the 16 & 49 any mis allocs these days, neither of them get their allocation of geminis but regularly have anything left over in the depot on them.

The Unique York Multi-coloured FTR 19001 was in Birstall on its way to Volvo Crossroads being towed in by a recovery truck. Quite a journey from York!

There was a B9TL wright Gemini on the 63 (First) last night, also there was that Alexander Strider on the 5 in the bus station on one of the bottom bay's again, this seems normal did this normally run off the 5 and go onto the 73?

Is the 5 a Bramley or Hunslet route? Because I thought that the evenings and Sundays short 5 journeys interworked with the 44, but because the 44 stops at around 8pm (except on Saturdays...go figure) the later evening journeys on the 5 would have time to kill in the bus station. But now I'm not so sure because I think the 5 might be a Hunslet route?!
Also I think someone posted recently saying that evening 63 journeys are worked on/off the X84 runs which would explain the B9TL sighting... was it a leather-seated X class one? (I wouldn't fancy the idea of taking a leather-seated new double decker up Cross Green/East End Park at night!)

I pretty sure the 5 and the 44 are bramley operated, from time to time I have seen the 302XX batch of olympians along these routes, the usual 66709-15 b7RLE batch plus the usual Scania Double Decks 36922/32 31097 etc. All of these batches usually belong to bramley.

OK, for some reason I had in my head that it was a Kirkstall route but was this ever the case or have I imagined it?! Hence I didn't know if it had moved from Kirkstall to Hunslet or was always a Bramley route.
Anyway putting aside confusing myself, if both routes are Bramley operated then I think the 5/44 interwork as I thought but the late evening buses must just stand time in the bus station.

No the B9tl on the 63 wasn't branded for the X Class so it wouldn't have leather seats.
