I noticed this coach on sunday when I was passing to go to Sainsbury's. I wondered about this wondering if Arriva had taken on a National Express contract or if it was just kept overnight if the service terminated late at night in or around Dewsbury.

Just looked at some pictures on Jack's site and Stagecoach Yorkshire do have 56 plate Caetano Levantes and 2004 Plaxtons. My guess is they're paying Arriva a small fee to use their facilities as some of their drivers may live in the Dewsbury area and its more efficient to be based there

No, more likely the fact that Stagecoach Yorkshire have transferred the NatEx coaching unit to Chesterfield depot from Barnsley. With a few routes Stagecoach operate under contract to National Express terminating in Halifax and Huddersfield the journey running dead back to depot will be longer now as a result.

If we include school buses in these treads I came across the following on the Belle Vue school runs in Bradford recently on 12/01/09 gemini 37102 and today single decker 60923. Usually School services in Bradford if not part of the mybus scheme are operated by Olympians

There maybe some school routes may interwork with normal services hence some services getting newer buses.

First Halifax 60818 S675SVU Wright Renown was (well probably still is) on 508 this evening, running the 18:10 from Leeds bus station, a particularly busy run for the 508, and was quite full.

Is the 653 now low floor because B7TL 30897 showed the service number on its back screen. Also - B9TL 37092 was on the 654 (though it did just come off the works service and the 654 only runs twice per Saturday) Olympian 30673 was on the 607

First Bradford seem to usually operate the 653,654 and 670 on Saturday with low floor buses on some of the boards

There's been a mention elsewhere that the 653 now gets Geminis on weekdays too. Geminis that would then move onto a low floor service at peak times, as the 653 only runs off peak thesedays. Can anyone confirm this?

ALX400's 30935 and 30930 where both on the 73 today, I guess this is because of the Striders which have been withdrawn.
